Especially at the time it was supposed to be a thing. All three of them were at their own creative peaks. Lighting in a bottle type shit.
The late 2000s was the only time this album would have actually happened. Lupe’s trajectory was super high and Kanye was big, but still grounded enough to team up with a newcomer like Lu. With all that’s happened since then and now in both their careers, this shit is a wrap. Funny because I could still see Pharrell being down to do this project..
Pharrell as of late isn’t so much in touch. He use to be leading and right now I feel like he’s either catching up or playing “ trending “. That’s just based off his solo music/features as of late.
