  • Join us as we continue our extremely rough passage from Colon to San Blas, Panama. They say that a schedule is the most dangerous thing to carry on a boat, and this week we proved it. This episode joins Bohemia's fearless crew healed over and screaming along through rough seas! We spent the night in the First Mate's most favourite stop, Linton Bay, only to continue our journey into a thunderstorm the next day!
    If you like our videos and want to support Bohemia's bar tab, you can make a contribution at / sailingbohemia .
    Peter and Tom are gay sailors who learned to sail relatively recently in the San Francisco Bay, before casting off the lines to cruise Mexico, Central America and beyond!

    Thank you for watching!

    As much as the captain likes flat seas and 12 knots, 25 knots and water coming over the rail is far more exciting!

    What a scary and rough passage, I would’ve been very sick! But it was all worth it because I’m famous now that I got a wonderful shout out from the beautiful Bohemia crew! Tom and Pedro are an amazing couple that know how to show their appreciation for their supporters.

    I learned to sail with an Oceanis 36.1, like the Bohemia. Sometimes in very rough seas, and it is true that this model is much stronger than it might seem and sails beautifully in rough seas.

      @prqrsqtful Před 7 měsíci +1

      I was going to ask. Bohemia is a 361? It did appear to handle the seas quite well.

    Cool video! Come for a sail on Lake Michigan sometime. That’s typical conditions much of the time. As a result, we spend a lot of time docktailing 😜

    • @SailingBohemia

      Hey Russ... In a nutshell, we left CA with some savings from work and have been spending those. Living in the boat, when you're not doing major projects or in expensive places, can be very cheap. We only set out with four years in mind but now we're getting creative on ways to prolong the adventure because we love it so much!
