- Join us as we continue our extremely rough passage from Colon to San Blas, Panama. They say that a schedule is the most dangerous thing to carry on a boat, and this week we proved it. This episode joins Bohemia's fearless crew healed over and screaming along through rough seas! We spent the night in the First Mate's most favourite stop, Linton Bay, only to continue our journey into a thunderstorm the next day!

Peter and Tom are gay sailors who learned to sail relatively recently in the San Francisco Bay, before casting off the lines to cruise Mexico, Central America and beyond!

Thank you for watching!
As much as the captain likes flat seas and 12 knots, 25 knots and water coming over the rail is far more exciting!
What a scary and rough passage, I would’ve been very sick! But it was all worth it because I’m famous now that I got a wonderful shout out from the beautiful Bohemia crew! Tom and Pedro are an amazing couple that know how to show their appreciation for their supporters.
Thanks for the lovely comment, you're welcome 🤗
You're a wonderful and awesome couple!@@SailingBohemia
We forgot about the awful wine! Great to see you two making your way. We're jealous of the warm weather you are having.
Haha luckily we have awful taste in wine to match. It's a very budget friendly combo 😜
Tell the first mate Barbie’s hair needs some attention!
Another fun episode you two..thank you
Haha I'm sure he'll get to it on his rounds 😜 Amy products you can recommend to thicken the fringe?
I've fallen asleep on the floor sole twice riding out gales seemed to be the safest place
Definitely the most comfortable when there's nowhere else to fall 😅
Hell yeah boys!!!
Was put on to this channel by an associate, you both seem like good fun, keep up the good work!!!
Welcome aboard and thank you for the follow!
Enjoy your sailing ⛵️ sailboat video! Mike from Missouri
Thanks 👍
Loved the white water sailing guys. Thank you so much! :)
Glad you got some pleasure out of the First Mate's discomfort 😅 it perks up the Captain every time too! Ha ha
I learned to sail with an Oceanis 36.1, like the Bohemia. Sometimes in very rough seas, and it is true that this model is much stronger than it might seem and sails beautifully in rough seas.
I was going to ask. Bohemia is a 361? It did appear to handle the seas quite well.
Yep she's an Oceanis 361, 2001 vintage 😍
What a rough ride. Too rolly poley by half and that was just viewing it! Well done guys 😊 x J and R
Hahaha yes this was a bit of a rolly ride!
The was a great video! I really enjoyed watching that spirited passage. I vote for more videos like that. Thanks for sharing your adventures. I talky enjoy them.
Awesome! Thank you! The crew vote for fewer passages like that though 😅😅 let's see what we get ha ha
@SailingBohemia I just noticed, that should have said "really enjoy".
Wow. Quite a ride.
I so enjoy you guys post !!
Thank you Charles, we enjoy your lovely comments too! 😉😊
Sails look great.
Thanks! This was a great sailing day, looking back from the comfort of a calm anchorage 😅
What fun from afar, 😂. I’m not sure if the sea or the soundtrack was scarier in that opening sequence.
Hahaha yes the FM found some great music to match the mood on board 😜
We used an Optimus Sea swing kerosene burner never failed in heavy weather
Smart to wear your life jackets and EPIRB in those conditions!! Hope your starboard portholes weren't open!😅
Hahaha you don't want to know how many times I went down below to check all the port lights were closed 😅 Smooth seas again for now!
Cool video! Come for a sail on Lake Michigan sometime. That’s typical conditions much of the time. As a result, we spend a lot of time docktailing 😜
Sounds great, we're always up for docktails 😋😅
Good to see how well Bohemia handles those conditions and takes good care of her “daddies”!
Hahaha yes her daddies are well taken care of 🥰😅
Tell the captain to get over it. He didn’t check either.
Haha he's been told
just imagine how beautiful she would sail with a human helm 😍
Not needed upwind, she was perfectly balanced 😉
is the first mate a bit lasy. the captain need coffe in the morning and magaritas in the afternoon and food in betwean
Exactly what I have been telling him, for the past five years 😅😅 thank you for your support!
Hi! How did you come up with name Bohemia?
Peter is from Bohemia - Mělník.. maybe you know it.
Guys. It’s NONE of my business “how much you make”, money wise, I have to ask “how you do it” to afford this adventure.
Hey Russ... In a nutshell, we left CA with some savings from work and have been spending those. Living in the boat, when you're not doing major projects or in expensive places, can be very cheap. We only set out with four years in mind but now we're getting creative on ways to prolong the adventure because we love it so much!
@@SailingBohemia thanks guys. Your show inspires me to somehow learn sailing. I wish you safe travels and smooth seas.
