    I play tested the Asics Court FF3 and found the COMFORT issues in this new model too much to overcome. The shoe felt fine walking around my house for one day, but once I got them on the court, a number of significant issues became very apparent.
    First and foremost, there is a problem with the cushioning under the heel of the shoe. After an hour of play on the court, my foot was throbbing, and it felt like I had rocks under my heels. Whether this is due to the new “Air Channel” in the heel creating a smaller stack of foam in that part of the midsole or if it is due to the higher density foam of this design creeping into a major part of the heel cushioning, I am not sure. What I am sure of is that my feet hurt for three days after one hour of play in these shoes.
    Overall, I found very little bounce from the midsoles of these shoes and nearly no shock absorption. Perhaps if I added insoles to these shoes I could have improved this, but I feel strongly if you are paying $165. For a pair of tennis shoes, they should feel right out of the box and after proper break-in without adding another $50. in insole cushioning. In short, fit and cushioning needs to be good for me without making modifications to be a keeper.
    Finally, I did not feel this shoe was all that quick. They felt a bit slow to react when needed - especially up and back. The fit of the shoe is also a bit tricky. All in all, I was not at all impressed with the Court FF3 and cannot recommend them based on my experience. I don’t know what it is with Asics and my body, but proper cushioning and medial support continues to be a problem for me in all their shoes - the FF3 being the worst.

    I'm begining to play tennis and the price difference between Gel Dedicate 7 and Gel Challenger 13 is not that big. Considering I can afford this price difference, should I go straight to Challenger 13 or as a beginner I should stay with Gel Dedicate 7?

  • @MrTchupam
    @MrTchupam Před 7 měsíci +2

    I’ve used dedicate for years. It has that classic fitting that my bad foot got used to🙏. Been feeling that I need more quality but I’m afraid that the others doesn’t fit me like the dedicate…

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před 7 měsíci +2

      The Challenger would be a great step up, or the Gel Resolution! The Dedicate is actually modeled off those shoes so it should fit similar but have added technology and more value than that Dedicate! Luckily though, we offer free returns on shoes (just don't wear them on the court, try them on carpet!) so if they work, great! If not, you can return them and stick with the tried and true Dedicates!

      @MrTchupam just switched from Dedicate to Resolution... It's a whole better shoes in terms of comfort and ankle support. If you're looking for this, you can't go wrong.

      @@Sandro_Z68 hmmm yeah I’m thinking about resolution. I once tried some challenger for clay and it’s completely different… the sole is flat and it wasn’t good for my feet

    disagree, tried the reolutions and the gel games and theyre just fine. you dont need resolutions but they are very nice. I play 5-6 times a week in the spring/summer, am about 190lbs, and Im about a 4.5/5.0

    Trying to decide between challenger and solution swift. Most important point for me is ankle stability. Any suggestions or does it not make much of a difference?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +4

      The Challenger falls more into the stability family for Asics, so that will likely be your best option of the two (think Gel Resolution but with a little less built in support and stability, but also a little more flexible). The Solution Swift is more on the side of lightweight speed, not quite the stability of the Challenger. Troy, TW

    i play girls high school tennis i’m pretty good and i like to move across the court fast and make quick movements, which women’s shoe would you suggest?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před 2 měsíci

      If you are playing a bunch of tennis, instead of just suggesting the lightest, quickest shoes I'd suggest trying the most durable ones which would be the Gel Resolution! They will be great for your quick steps and also will last longer than the Solution Speed. If durability isn't an issue for you, I would suggest the Court FFs as those shoes really will hold you in and feel great when picking up the pace! Hope that helps!

    Hi, I am a starting padel player who needs a good shoe for stability. Now I read often that a good tennis shoe is also good for the new padel courts. Is the ASICS GEL-DEDICATE 7 suitable for padel courts (new padel court, indoor, just little sand)? Regards Roy

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před rokem +1

      I would first off start by asking where is you market? Like if you are shopping one of our websites would you shop TW (US) or TW Europe? If you are shopping TW Europe we have a section just for padel shoes, with an outsole specific for those courts. Check them out here: www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/catpage-PADELMS-EN.html. The shoes in this video have an outsole that is best suited for a hardcourt. The Gel Dedicate 7 is a good shoe for comfort, and for someone starting out. The Challenger 13 is a good option as well, for a bit more stability. If you were to shop from our TW (US) site I would probably look toward our clay court shoe options, as they are closer in the outsole design to padel shoes. Troy, TW

    hi looking to buy a good pair of shoes for pickleball, i am 66 male but still very competitive, I am sure I need a good all-round support type, mainly play indoors.

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před 4 měsíci

      If you wanted an indoor specific shoe, you could check our inventory, specifically something like the Babolat Shadow Tour. www.totalpickleball.com/Mens_Indoor_Pickleball_Shoes/catpage-MPBSHINDOOR.html. That said, a great all-around shoe for pickleball, and also one of my personal favorites is the Skechers Viper Court Elite; offering great support and is also very comfortable. We are also big fans of the KSwiss Hypercourt Express 2, and the Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour. Troy, TW

      I rotate between the Gel Res 9 and the Court FF when I am coaching! Both are great options! If you prefer the bootie construction, the Court FF might be the way to go but sometimes I think the GR9 are more plush!

    I AM PLAYING TENNIS FOR PAST 6 YEARS , THIS IS MY FIRST ASICS SHOES I WAS SAWING , PLEASE SUGGEST ME A SHOE , GEL GAME 9 OR SOLUTION SWIFT FF ,

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Both are good options, as long as you are not too tough on your shoes in terms of durability. In that case you might consider looking for shoes that come backed by an outsole guarantee. The Solution Swift FF is a bit more speed oriented, whereas the Gel Game 9 offers slightly more comfort and cushioning. Troy, TW

      Gel Game is good value option, providing comfort right out of the box. If you need more support or durability you could go for one of the higher end models, like Challenger 14, Gel Resolution, or Court FF 3. Troy, TW
