To help explain why this theme is so small and why the Zombie Graveyard is so expensive. This was only intended to be a one and done filler theme between A couple of large license's. It actually sold much better than they expected. But due to it's short nature they didn't have any capacity to go back and make more of these sets. Factory time being the finite resource at Lego. The Zombies were a Target Exclusive set. And it sold out within days of it hitting the shelves. The Zombie Bride and Groom were and are really popular for wedding cakes.
Something I love about these sets is that many of them have locations. Nowadays, Lego just makes vehicles, but in this theme, they actually gave you places to build.
Edit: scratch that, Lego still makes location sets. I’ve just been thinking of modern Ninjago, which really has a dearth of location builds.
Loved seeing all these sets again and appreciate your take on it! I think I may have one or two of these sets but it was after they were retired. This is one theme that really appreciated in value so collecting them is going to be a bigger endeavor now.

This set will always be special to me, because it was my very first Lego set.

Nice videos , really hitting the nostalgia of those series that just sorta flew by while growing up. I think you might have some ambient music from your mic in the recording , just wanted to point that out : )
Thanks! This is an older video so whatever background noise you are hearing shouldn't be a thing in newer videos besides background music that I add to the the video.

I owned all of these except the zombie one at one point. I only have 4 completed ones that being the hearse, train, castle, and mansion, but my mansion is very sun damaged so I need to restore it over the summer.

This is my absolute all time favorite lego series, my biggest obsession ever. I got every set except for the haunted house. The werewolf set is my favorite, what’s yours?

I found the flapping wing play function of the ghost train didn’t work that well

The BEST one is NOT the haunted house, it's the Vampire castle, it's bigger, better, more play abilities, AND, it's a CASTLE.
