Meg Loven what is the name of the plastic looking inserts for your pop up box as I couldn’t catch the name. I so want to make one

I've been wanting to try and make one for a couple of months now, you might measure in inches, but I have a double measured ruler with centimetres on one side and inches on the other and am able to convert. I have written the measurements in both inches and centimetres to know. You are awesome! It's turned out so well 😃😃😃

@@MegLoven I made the pop-up box card for a student who moved away last Friday. She loved it, and all the kids thought it was cool. Besides confetti, I also had folded post-it notes from the principal and several teachers pop out with the cube. Afterwards, a beaded bracelet I made with her name on it with left in the bottom of the box. It was awesome! Thanks again.

I think the inside flaps should be opposite, right? That way the box can fold flat if preferred...thanks for showing this method.
LuLu Johnson you’re welcome! The flaps can fold either way - they do fold flat when they’re done as in the video, but they can certainly be opposite - that would work, too. Good thought!

I know you did this in 2014, but the idea is so amazing and this video is the best, still very fresh and fabulous. So worth the effort. Thanks so much. You make it look easy and I can see myself making this for some fun occasions and using some of my stash in a very creative way. Jnetti

Wow! You made that so much easier than all the other crazy videos I've watched on making a box card! Thank You!!! Do you know how attach one of these pop up boxes inside the center of a regular card? So that when you open the card the box (glued to the center of the card)pops open and the card is now the "mat" the box sits on.

You'd need to put some extra creases and cuts in the bottom panels to make it fold out - probably some diagonal score lines. Interesting idea - might have to play with it :)

Will this card fit in a Stampin Up Medium envelope? I am going to do one with a Halloween theme.
Yes! Sorry for the delayed response - although good news, you still have time for Halloween :) The dimensions I used for this card are designed to fit in a regular Stampin' Up! Medium Envelope.

Hello! Do you mean the clear plastic strips that hold up the elements? Those are Window Sheet strips, and they're available from a Stampin Up demonstrator in the UK. If I didn't understand your question though, let me know and I'll try again :)

The papers are all made by Stampin' Up! and available through my online store (links in my 'about' page). The designer series papers shown in this video are retired, but there are some great updated choices with current colors and patterns to sub for the ones I used on this Pop Up Box Card.

You mean the panels with the gray and white striped paper, right? They are 1 3/4" by 2 1/2".

It's called a Simply Scored Tool (122334) and it's available from Stampin' Up! through a demonstrator. I'd be happy to help you - just visit my blog or website and click ordering.
oh em gee! play this with the subtitles on! did you type in your own subtitles? they are hilarious. (in beginning it mentions cutting with a bally tip thing!)
The subtitles are an automatic feature that CZcams adds... and they're pretty horrible as far as matching what I'm actually saying! Glad you found them funny though :)

Can I use something other than acetate to hold up the decorations?
Sure, you could use card stock or pretty much anything. The window sheets (acetate) are just fun because they're clear.
Will it still hold up embellishments well?

If your embellishments aren't too heavy (punched card stock pieces, an occasional rhinestone) they should be fine. But the acetate will definitely stand up to a lot more weight (LOL...no pun intended)!
