I can see what you mean by the prosecution can be overwhelmed with a huge case like this in a smaller area. Yes, with Lori Vallow demanding her right to a speedy trial worked to get the DP taken off the table and being Chad gave up that right, essentially giving the prosecution more time to male a more solid case, he got the DP. Now that BK has given up his right to a speedy trial, it may bite him in the bum! Circumstantially, I believe he is guilty, unless the defense can come up with some undeniable solid proof, I think he is done, and going to see the firing squad.
Wondering if Prior will clean up the pet cemetery with the kids DNA spread around the firepit😢❤?

Not quite 22hrs. Closer to 14 or 15 when the jury sent the letter.
Hi Scott. I am NOT a lawyer, nor do I play one on TV. I find it strange that double jeopardy does not attach itself to a hung jury. Has that ever been challenged? As a layman it seems to me that the jury gives one verdict. If the prosecution did not prove it to the jury beyond a reasonable doubt, then I don't get the retry. They have individual votes, but only one verdict. If they can't agree unanimously on the guilt, then it wasn't proven to the jury. I'm sure there are reasons ... fair or not ... but I don't get it. thanks for all you do.

I couldnt live in the former daybell house. But if i was to buy it i would probably have the house and all the buildings destroyed and either just let it sit for a time before selling the land down the road (long enough for the shock factor to wear off) or i would buldoze everything, and level it out and make a nature preserve of some kind thats a memorial to Tylee, JJ and Tammy. Complete with a duck pond of course.

I saw your comment so I looked up the court filings. The motion for withdrawal by her defense attorney was granted, and the court site states that Sarah has “forfeited her right to counsel”!

If you look up the address 202 N 1900 E Rexburg, ID on Google you can see if the interior. Honestly, Prison may be more comfy and modern let’s say…minimalistic.

How come Brian hasn't went to trial? Can someone explain?
I’ll explain-
Brian’s attorney is claiming it will take until later next year to prepare. She has cited the amount of evidence as the reason, saying it will take that much time to properly go through all of it.
What is really going on is that the defense is trying to delay having the trial as long as possible. It would take too long to explain why, but it will help their chances.
The court is pretty much catering to the defense, because they don’t want to create any possibilities for an appeal for not giving the defense enough time.
Also, Brian is in jail waiting for trial anyway.
They are waiting for evidence that was used to arrest their client to be turned over to them e.g,. Cell phone information that MPD got from the FBI and CCTv The was collected of the white from 70 businesses and 10 homes and defense asked Officer Payne about certain videos mentioned in police reports that haven’t been turned over to the defense. Officer Payne when asked about certain video footage of the white car he the defense to talk to evidence custodian. The defense said that there was a list of video footage with sticky notes, yes sticky notes. Office Payne said that the route that the suspect took was just a possible route and it’s just a guess in their part they are not sure and they also said that they haven’t seen BK’s car on the video that they watch, yep. Go look at May 30, 2024 Anne gets Payne to say that they didn’t see BK’s car on the video e,g. South of Moscow. They have their cell phone expert testified that there was something wrong with the test drive data from the fbi expert. He also said that what he has seen is excluporty to the suspect.

Apparently "deadlines" aren't really important to kohberger's atty. At virtually every date suggested for discovery, etc. to be due, she would say it's reasonable to set the date, BUT, we want it known now that we may have to have more time...
If we're talking about negligence at Uvalde, how about we charge the teacher who didn't get those kids put of that classroom he knew couldn't be secured and instead had them literally lie down to be slaughtered.
I dont know what crazy loopy protocols toy have im the states, but here in Canada if the teacher can't lock the door you get to a door that can be locked, you don't stay there and get ypur students slaughtered.

Buy the farm. Put mannequins in position with red paint, a TV playing the cell phone video from his sons phone on the wall. A police car outside whether he sat and pretended to be upset. Actors re-enacting the walk down to the pond and throwing in the mobile phone.

The best thing Thompson can do is drop all charges and beg Kohberger not to sue Moscow, Idaho out of existence. Although, it's too late for that already.
