UP TO 5 years? It should be the death penalty. That's what the US and Britain did to stop international slavery. If they found a ship on the sea, all the crew were killed on the spot and the people returned. DEATH PENALTY.
Death penalty is very harsh, but it may be the only effective deterrent at this point in time. But criminals have always and Will always find a "work around." But imposing and aggressively carrying out a the death penalty , at this stage in the problem may be the most effective way to to stop the problem.

Where it happens is irrelevant in a school ground or in the middle of a desert the punishment should be the same. don't incentivize dumping the victim in the wilderness. Prison should be maximum security followed by bus to plane deportation (preferably with a brand on their forehead).

Would be a good idea to contact our Congressional representatives with this idea. We must stop this problem..we are allowing violent criminals and extremely desperate aliens in. Another reason is that once in the U.S. WE the people get to pay for their kids education, medical care, and housing while far too many Americans are struggling with those problems. I saved a girl from this once, she said she was assigned a handler sounds like a slavemaster. They use hotels and threaten these girls not cool at all. In fact after I rescued her she and I witnessed on her cell phone that handler typing words on her phone aka he had hacked her phone so I told her to not enter personal info at all about herself, her whereabouts etc. she said it was a big issue and she was rescued in NH but it all started in some hotel in Virginia. She had been shot in the leg due to the crazy nature of this industry. Minors should never be harmed in such ways. She was so fearful that she wouldn’t tell anyone about what had happened she mended the wound herself. She was from Maryland. Heaven help the handler or whoever does this stuff to a minor if I’m ever present to intervene. I’m a mild person until someone is harming a minor. Then I become pure rage to the point of death, if necessary and I’m not afraid to die. I won’t be gentle either. If I see I’ll deal with it myself. I will go straight after a trafficker because I have a daughter myself. Sure she’s an adult yet don’t try me and I know I’m not the only one that feels this way. Also I’ll defend someone else’s daughter as if she were my own. I have personal reasons for that yet I mean what I say! These scumbags on the left that dare think this is a non issue are liars I know first hand the harm it brought to this innocent female from Maryland.

As a survivor of child sex-trafficking, I thank you Mr. Hunt. There is no place safe for these kids that a trafficker won't go to take a child. A trafficker could be anyone- doctors, lawyers, parents, anyone! Do they understand that getting these kids back is almost impossible. Courts are also releasing them on their O.R. and allowing them to go back to what they were doing before they were arrested like the doctor in Yavapi county AZ. Once arrested and if convicted, all traffickers should get life in prison with no discreation left to the lower courts.
Don't mess with the 5 years give him the death penalty you think they're not doing it off the school property. Death penalty no plea just the death penalty.
