A truck almost rolled off the mountain in Sparta, NC and it was said to be a miracle that it didn’t but I actually happen to know that trucker probably needed a citation for not having his truck bed latched right and He is blessed service members work from the highways to the heavens. No, I’m not crazy I’m just blessed that the hand of God has been my rescue and my saving grace in the worst storm of my life that almost got me.
Kudos to every momma and kids waiting and singing that song...I grew up with a dad who hauled long distance...now as a mother of 3 and husband who drives long distance I totally appreciate this song even more.
when my dad used to be a truck driver he would always turn this song on for us and now we found out my dad had renal cell carcinoma he had surgery to remove the mass on his kidney and when they did a biopsy on the mass they had pulled out they came to find out that it was stage 3 grade 1 cancer after the surgery his EKG showed the aftermath results of a heart attack which was confirmed that during recovery he did have a minor heart attack but as always my father was and is stubborn and managed to get through it and keep rollin on so this song will always be his theme song to me.

The pavement was level. He parked at a rest stop. There was a notch at the curb and he fell. He twisted his ankle and scratched his knee in two places. He was still on the ground when he saw headlights coming toward him. He rolled on the ground to get out of the way. Another big truck was coming and didn’t slow down or even see him on the ground. He kept going and would have run over my husband if he hadn’t rolled out of the way. He’s okay but I’m still shook up.

Was a trucker longer than I'd been alive. My family lost him, November 17th of 2017. 💔 we played this and Convoy at his funeral and burial, as well as Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon".
My dad in-law was a trucker til an tbi took that away from him now we are all helping and dealing with the healing aspect of it and this song hits home and some days seems to be the thing that gets us through it. Thank you every trucker and trucking family out there!
