tbf no, bwspm is very mid. its a manual tiler which is really annoying(at least for me) xmonad is alot more powerfull and its also configured in haskell

you make the background of the bar itself transperant, then for each module, you specify the `format-background` to give each module a background different from the bar's background and use an empty seperator between each module, and that's it
Gracias! Lo que pasa que xmonad según se y entiendo es el mejor wm por todas sus funciones y características.. pero configurarlo es maratonico, tienes que aprender lua, y pues.. no.. a mi experiencia bspwm te da todo y es sencillo aprender y configurarlo.

Dude this is insane! didn't even realize you could use .png files in eww. For the Andrea rice, do the workspaces also get assigned a .png icon? also do you know if there is a way to do so? and switch the .png depending if the workspace is active or not?
@@LEBR27 cool, i'll do that. i noticed on other repos where people are using eww as their bar, they have a script, usually called workspaces to se how workspaces look. i couldn't find anything like that fro the rices where you use eww.

@V-db6rh change the picom backend to xrender in ~/.config/bspwm/picom.conf Additionally open bspwmrc and comment the picom line and uncomment the one with legacy backends option.

How did you get polybar to look like different blocks? I've been trying to do that but couldnt find any info about how to

how did you get shadows and rounded corners with picom? when I try it there's always some weird shadows at the corners
I think it depends on your graphics driver, mesa package, backend used in picom etc...

Yes. I think it's possible. If you can open an issue in the repo, I'll give you the script you can work with there.
