But to hear you talk about her in such way, it is obvious that you had a wonderful life together and that’s something special, as our good memories will keep our spirits up and helps us on the road forward until one day we meet again.

That was lovely to watch and quite touching. I very rarely get inspiration when re-visiting a photo location, however great it was the first time around. But aside from the scenery here, of course your personal circumstances are very different to mine. I think you would get great value out of Olympus micro four thirds cameras because the image stabilisation is outstanding and focus stacking can be done automatically and internally by the camera from beginning to end, incredibly fast incidentally. And you can always reset the aspect ratio. Anyway, excellent technique, imagery and organisation. For me, two tripods is two steps too far though!
Thank you Michael, I really appreciate your comments. My Sony does have auto-focus stacking and it works well, and I wouldn't like to lose more pixels by setting the aspect ratio on an Olympus. If anything, I'd probably get an APS-C if I get too old to carry around my full-frame and two tripods! Hopefully not for a while yet 😅

Hi Tony,
Another excellent video. My wife and I walked the coastal path there last year on a visit from Australia. I have so many great memories of the Cornwall coast. Watching this reminded me of the many photo opportunities I had to walk past, as we were hiking the coast and had destinations to reach each night. I would love to come back one day with more time to pause and photograph. It is a beautiful location.

Great guide Tony. Don't you use the stacking feature on the RV?
Thanks Jon. I haven't tried it hand-held, and doing sea pinks they move too much in the breezes so I prefer manual. I do use the auto in woodland or when not much is moving.

Sorry for your loss, and hopefully you find some solace in your photography. May I ask a technical question? Do you stack the images in photoshop, or do you use layer masks and "paint" in the relevant in-focus areas manually? Thanks.
Thank you very much Mark. I do find solace in photography and talking freely in my videos. My method is shown in this video - czcams.com/video/XtzPBNqVs6M/video.html - I know you're supposed to use Layer Masks, but I got so used to doing it well manually (in the days before Layer Masks) that I don't use them! @@tonyhowellcouk Thanks Tony. Just had a look. Yes, that's kind of what I meant by using layer masks. Much like you might do an exposure blend. Love your Velvia images in that video! I use a Mamiya 645 for film, along with a Fujifilm X-T5 for digital. (Subbed by the way).
