You don't even get rewards for participating. The veteran guilds are coming to T1 shitting on newer guilds, and the newer guilds don't even get rewards for getting stomped. It's a waste of time.

The moment I heard about this change I immediately stopped playing.. once it was confirmed and brought to the west I uninstalled the game.
Playing s makes your an S eater, that simple.
based on recent player numbers its clearly a resonating that people are upset with the changes to pvp as a whole.

They already did changes to siege. Tent is a lot more tankier now and it takes ages to kill it even when 80 ppl hit the tent together. Recoveries are a lot squishier now, give 1 player 15 seconds and the recov is gone. Siege is not fun anymore either.
In every online game is 5% pvping ..but what 5% pvp ppl get is depend😂❤i am in 5%pvping and play bdo 10years ..it is why 5% are important … not worry it will be ok 😂

congratulations, you’ve discovered the gameplay loop of BDO. There is no real game, it’s an endless loop of “stack more silver” with some treasure items sprinkled in to add the illusion the game has more to offer.
But in reality, besides running in circles to stack that silver, there is no real game

If capped and uncapped node wars were all 30-man, and were guild-based not alliance-based (like guild league rip), I think the scene would be a lot healthier. At this point alliances should be for siege only.

I tried so hard to be positive about the new node war system but after a few weeks the same old multi-alliance alliances started gang banging. So not only did the system solve nothing, but they're still trying to balance a game with like a dozen different pvp settings. Zzzz
If they ban Alliance everything will be better
After changing the karma system, and guild dec's I knew this game was going into wrong direction. They started to protect griefers, killed red players community, and open world PvP that only exists on Arsha now. Now I have less urge to push my gear because I don't feel it's worth it. To grind only the better and better spots? Nah. PvP here and there is capped, on AoS you use different gear. Back then I wanted higher gear to protect myself and my spot. There's no danger in the bdo world, only dfs od grief.

You don't even have to be a "sweat lord" to realize that a strong, engaged, even sweaty pvp community is going to make node wars and siege a thrilling experience, even for more casual players like me. Players like that taught me how to play, how to pvp, did the majority of the work in guilds and war so the rest of us could have fun, and now they are leaving or taking indefinite breaks because PA has basically shit on them.

Yeah it's super weird to me that the majority of BDO players apparently think that classes are content, when I was playing lost ark it was a common criticism towards the devs of players telling them the exact opposite.
Literally 0 rpg stuff in bdo, no class customization, lot of classes and cool but no exciting content. Classes completetly neglected.
I even tap one bs went back to tap pen coz of heidel ball and got free pen,, it doesnt interest me anymore.
They need to revert back to the old node wars and give the better rewards. Uncapped needs to give out a token that can be traded for end game accessories, elixirs, etc.

I quit bdo after about 5 hours of playing. My character was already a god mowing down 1000s of enemies without ever being in danger of dying. The game is boring as fuck.

I’ve been playing since EU release and seeing how BDO has changed over the last few years, todd is right in what he says. Once you’ve spawned in PvE is never challenging and all the game has to offer is stacking silver by grinding that’s never really challenging or intense. No skill required, no personal achievements or satisfaction to be found. Permanent easy mode.
At least in the early days when things went slow and you had to attain and enhance your gear by yourself from nothing to +15 and beyond there was a sense of accomplishment getting somewhere. Now you fly past 700 gearscore with everything being handed to you on a silver platter. All there is to it is some time investment going in circles making minced meat of mobs to stack up silver and buying the few pieces they don’t hand you for free but are readily available on the marketplace up until Debo grind comes along. And besides continuing to do more of the same BDO has practically nothing of substance to offer to diversify or mask or intensify that ridiculously low-effort gameplay loop. At least in something like Diablo you go from zero to hero, in BDO nothing changes except the scenery and what flavour of mobs you’re mincing. And if people reach Debo grind it’s more of a sunk cost fallacy than an actual decent game to keep you playing and coming back

Majority of the past updates WERE for PvE though. Ever since the whole KR is dying thing.

What community? The only people who interact with others are PVPers.I just do PvE stuff and I dont remember the last time I have ever had to interact with random people let alone wanted to lol. Half the game is already Afk/Semi afk activities, the other half are solo grind spots and broken boss blitzes.
