This all sounds very serious to me. Then I step back and think .. this is a pool .. and this is Springfield .. God knows worse things happen in Springfield, and the only reason the Mayor is proablly doing this is becuase if he closes the pool during summer heat, when most towns are opening up thier water parks to protect the public from the heat, he might face backlash. It cost the town money to run the pool. Lifegaurds are not easy to come by, and many communities are closing down thier pools beucase of labor issues. The mayor has his own pool so he doesn't care becuase he doesn't swim in it anyways. How long has issues been happening at the pool? I bet for many more years than this past year. Dam shame.
