Not a mistake dear, it is called SIN/INIQUITY/WICKEDNESS/ABOMINATIONS. True with repentance, Mercy re-writes our life/story. However the damage caused by sin never goes so easily. We are called to carefulness.

Remember we are not holding onto him, even if we tried our grip is too weak, we would be wrenched from Him just like that in the twinkling of an eye by the power of darkness but we cannot be wrenched from Him, why? Because we are not holding onto Him, He is holding us with a grip that is perfectly firm and strong forever, that is why He said, no power, even the power of the consequences of our sin, nothing can pluck us out of His hand, with which He is holding us, nothing. Now just that on its own is more than enough assurance for anyone of us, in a perverse and crooked world, that all is well for those who look unto Him as the Author and Finisher of their faith, Who is coming soon, the next time without sin unto salvation.
