I have been using the first gen oppo enco buds for almost 2 years now and purchased it because it was deemed the best in it's time and budget. Although the sound quality for music listening is rather up to the mark and a bang for the buck, but it all crashes down when it comes to call quality. I'm not sure if this is true for only my case but every single person on the other end of my phone calls has always complained of not being able to hear my voice but is only able to hear the glaringly loud environment/traffic noise when I'm outside. Even when indoors, they would say that my voice is of significantly less clarity when compared to speaking directly via the phone's microphone or speaker. Mind you this issue did not come with age but was there since day 1 and it frustrated me alot when I saw people with much cheaper boat earbuds having no such issues at all. It almost felt as if there's a new feature called Active Noise Amplification 😂 in my buds. I hope this was just in my case and other's have had s good experience, and I hope the newer models in the oppo enco line up are doing much better.
