Sorry, one of the performance videos caused my whole video to be blocked, so I had to trim it out of the video. So there's a weird cut about 10 minutes in.

To answer the question that was at the very end of the From video, the 9th trainee was a fairly new KQ trainee and they felt like he could benefit from the LA training but they didn't want to send him on his own so they attached him to Ateez. He was never intended to be a member of the group. But Hongjoong has said that they are still in contact with him and talk to him from time to time.
As for line distribution, you won't get much from Yeosang and Wooyoung in the Treasure era. They weren't comfortable with their voices and Yeosang especially didn't want many lines, but as they have gotten more vocal training and have become comfortable you'll start hearing more from them in the Fever era.
When you get to precious, I highly recommend watching the performance of treasure + precious because both songs are deeply connected by lyrics, music and choreography.
the kq fellaz performances (esp the 1st one) went kind of viral back in the day. it was the only claim to fame ateez had in the early days. i also think those few performances cemented their overseas fandom, because their company was definitely not big enough for them to be somewhat popular predebut, yet there was a general buzz in 2018 as their debut date neared. their charisma, facial expressions, and flawless dance moves were something expected of a dance team, which exceeded any group's dance talent at the time. watching these vids seriously give me so much nostalgia and they rlly have come a long way.
in their early days their line distribution was not always very even. yeosang and wooyoung didn't get as many lines. but they progressively were given more and if you listen to their b-sides it is a lot easier to separate out theur voices. as far as dancing goes, (three main dancers are yunho wooyoung an mingi) yunho is known to be their dance leader and he leads dance practice and helps with choreo. wooyoung has a few solo covers (studio choom) and a few others as a dancer myself, i have found that wooyoung has incredible lines and grace. mingi is extremely good at freestyling and is known for being very powerful. he used to get a lot of time in the center but he doesn't as much anymore. (i think its mostly because of his height and he is very broad). and altogether ateez is known to have some of the best dancers and choreo in kpop! i cant wait for you to see their next mvs! also i HIGHLY reccomend you watch their live stages because that is where they shine the most.
After this album, you'll see there are much more performances of both title tracks. During their debut, they could only perform one song and even that song was being cut off because small agency groups don't get the same benefits.
Treasure its the very first song in the treasure album series, in the future if u complete their album series u can see the connection with their very last song on the album series called Precious. Where in Treasure they talk about their humble beginning and the excitement on their start journey to hunt the treasure, while Precious gonna talk about how they got crazy and become mindless over the treasure, they sucked into a whole new world and it continue their lastest album series called The World album series, this album still on going on The World Ep. 2: Outlaw with Bouncy as the title track. They have a live peformance for Treasure then continue side by side with Precious. and yes, Ateez have a big lore running from their debut until now. On their debut era, they known as Pirates. But as the story running now we're know how they are not usual pirates, they are a Black Pirates, called as Halateez, a group of space pirates who can travel into another multiverse to fight authoritarian government called Strictland who banned music and art because it can bring more human emotion. They took apocalpyse setting so yeah u can see it from time to time on their MV especially during The World series.
