One if the best things I ever did was purchase scalpels with different kinds of blades. Far easier to use than razor knives. I purchased mine from my Dentist, explained why I wanted them and they sold me several handles and a large variety of curved, straight blades. I get replacement blades from them. Just fair warning you can also cut your fingers off!! Literally!! No joking, you must pay extreme care as to using them. Mind blowing sharp!

I've never seen anything on YT sewn so perfectly. Most vidoes show how to sew things like that but it usually looks really bad.
