Aw that was awesome. And the Rolls is the Kings car ( formerly the Queens ) so one or both were in the car most likely. You are mixing with Royalty. Guessing they want to make sure you got moored up safely ! Runnymede is adjacent to Windsor and is famous for the Magna Carta. Loved the vlog love Windsor. Absolutely fantastic. Thank you 🙏
Fab area - Old Windsor and Runnymede are lovely but walking along the main road…,probably not fun!! Glad you found the path back across the meadows…..and it didn’t tip down with rain on you! Good that this was before the gloomy rainy summer set in 😂
30 degrees C and really humid, (86F) ah, that's like where I grew up in South Carolina and Georgia; and, even here in central Missouri can be a lot more humid than one from elsewhere might expect for the US midwest. As a little kid I wasn't much bothered by that heat and humidity combo but starting around 40 years old it became a different ballgame. (am 60 now)

Runnymede is where Magna Carta was signed by King John. There is copy of it there.

Runnymede is a local government district within the county of Surrey. It was made famous as the place where the Magna Carta was signed and there is also the memorial to John F Kennedy placed after his assassination.
Magna Carta was signed at Runnymede also there's a little bit of the USA at the JFK memorial.
lucky you aren't in western Australia the average temp in summer here is between high 30's and 40 odd
We have lots of rain here and thats why the UK is green and lush and beautiful
The rain dont stop me doing anything but its so nice when we have episodes of nice sunny weather too
