- Abraham - who identify themselves as Non-Physical Source Energy, focused by Jerry Hicks and translated by Esther Hicks - have been answering questions for nearly twenty-five years, and the Teachings of Abraham have continuously evolved in collaboration with the thousands of workshop participants chosen to sit in the "hot seat" at the weekly workshops.
Workshop attendees frequently comment on the uncanny orchestration of questions around a particular theme on a particular day, and have also marveled at the unexpected and profound answers that Abraham has given to the most weighty of life's questions - and also to the seemingly simplest. This classic example was recorded on July 30, 2005 in San Francisco, California, and was then referred to by Abraham a number of times in workshops over the subsequent years.
Esther & Jerry Hicks are the authors of numerous books based on the Teachings of Abraham and their latest book, "Money and The Law of Attraction", reached #1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
Esther explains that she is "translating blocks of thought" from "Non-Physical Source Energy" - which she also identifies as her "Inner Being" or "Soul" - and who refer to themselves in the plural as "Abraham" (no relation to the Biblical figure).

That's the wittiest, most stunning, profound and sensible statement I've ever heard!!!! Not only is the response astounding because it was so instant, which indicates it is OBVIOUSLY the deepest truth, which is Abraham, but the asker is also astounding. Inspite of his friends' advice to not ask the question he asked it anyway. From the all knowing place inside him, his higher self, etc. He knew what seemed to be an elementary question would provide an answer we've all been searching for.
Despite all the skepticism & criticism regarding the channeling, the way Abraham gives answers to questions that is so sensitive & taboo to our nature is wisdom beyond this world & never cease to amaze me, every time!

I am in probably the lowest point in my life right now but whenever I listen to Abraham, it makes me feel happy and I felt deep within me that there is hope and things will eventually turn out alright as always has been..and never to give up nor to continue to delve into the negativity that seems to have been dragging me deeper and deeper into hopelessness at this point in time....and I see the flicker of light from Abraham....

Well, I'm pretty new to Esther Hicks, and this question was something I came across on my internet searches of her. It is the main question of all the skeptics. How nice to get an answer just a few days after subscribing to this channel! Maybe that was Law of Attraction at play?

WOW! This is so insightful. I've heard the names "Abraham", "Esther", and "Jerry" used often from awe-struck law of attraction believers. But I never knew what it was.
