Kendrick is so real, you can sense it in him. He's also a great great lyricist and I get the idea he's a really nice and chill person to be with, wich puts him in my Top 3 for sure :)
He is one of the greatest and a genius as well him J.Cole, D'Allan Rixxx and Drake are hands down top 5 i also throw ab soul n the convo.
XX_SELFMADE_BYTTTCH Only problem with Drake is that he's a bit cocky and sets himself back with people like Lil' Wayne for some god damn reason. I feel like Drake's music would be so much better if he actually tried to move away from the rest of today's "mainstream" rap, and that's exactly why Kendrick is so good, because it's so different, yet at the same time it follows the exact outline of what today's mainstream rap should be.

@@danielweeks4886 I never made a correlation between what rappers "talk about" and their intelligence. I also never said other rappers are unintelligent. I think most rappers/musicians have an average intelligence. The word "intelligent" by definition is when someone or something is exceeding the norm intellectually. I think he exceeds the norm based off of how he orchestrates his music. His understanding of music and the way he constructs his songs is on a level far above most other musicians. His winning of the Pulitzer prize helps solidify my belief of his musical capabilities, and studies show musical training and intelligence are closely linked.
