- We learn a lot from books and from talking to people. That's the idea behind an initiative to create a 'human library'. You borrow a person you wouldn’t usually meet for a half-hour candid conversation and learn what it is like to be in their shoes. That's what Neil and Sam discuss, as they teach you related vocabulary.
This week's question
The Human Library started out in Denmark but soon spread across Europe and the world. So how many countries have a Human Library now?
a) 75
b) 85
c) 95
Listen to the programme to find out the answer.

Thank you BBC!
I've never heard about "human library" before and now I know about it. Your mileage may vary so your experience, knowledge, information in books may different from what they went through. Thank you BBC.

I'm an open book! If you need a friend, come here and talk to me.
I watch this channel everyday night to improve my English skills. Thanks
It is a great idea !at the moment, i do recognize that there are lot of human libraries we met every day without noticing , our grandparents , parents , friends, teachers, and any person's experiences get us learned from their lives.
BBC learning English is very helpful for me to learn English. Thanks à lot .

@@HangLe-im2no nỗi buồn ko của riêng ai huhu. Tiếng Anh thông dụng dễ dùng kinh khủng mà học sang tiếng nhật hơi ghét xíu. Tiếng Nhật nghư dài dòng văn tự ghê ý. Nói xong một câu là đứt hơi
How manay languages can you speak? I guess that your English level must be very high now.

It would be a great experience. Do you think they have a human library online? I think it would take us a very very long time to have a human library in our country. Thanks for your video.
Interesting information, thank BCC!
Any time!
What an interesting topic!
Interesting topic, thanks for sharing this video.
Our main teacher usually talks about 3kinds of reading. We can read from 1. Physical book 2. E book 3. Human book. Talking with knowledgeable peolpe is like we are reading a good book.
Today my like is the third but comment is the first. Awesome as usually 👍
i have something new and interesting in my channel 🙄
Great !!!
Thanks Teacher
Good job 👏
Everyday 12 hours time i learning english so difference way.
People say "don't judge a book by it's cover". Therefore i agree with it. In addition i can say that how we look doesn't say about us. However there is body language. People can guess people's personality by it just throuth how they act and behave. Behavior tell about us more
good topic,thank you🤩
Help me to learn English and react on this comment as much as and motivate me to learn.

But we are already in a library ..and urging people to sit with other people ,sure, chosen to serve agendas is deceiving .It is a malicious idea
Sam's conversation is some hard to listen
the woman's voice is really irritable and makes me uncomfortable :(
So you listen to it and then you don't get irritated.
