Moody Blues fan here since my early teens. After I had 3 daughters in my 30s, their “morning wake up” music was Moody Blues too! They just spoke about it around our Thanksgiving table and also are fans who are now in their 30s!

Keeping it alive? That’s not ever a concern, Mr Lodge. I’ve been bingeing TMB all week.

I've never really had a talent for memorization, but over the many years can recite Graeme's Poetry by heart and hear him speak the words. Even early on when Mike Pinder lent his "older" voice to them.

Brought up on the Moody Blues thanks to my older sister. Seen them three times live, an incredible band who make wonderful music, Threshold of a Dream is still my favourite album.

Moody Blues, so good and unique. One of my all time favorite songs is Blue Jays ( Justin and John) " I Dreamed Last Night". 😎👍

Both John and Justin seem like kind hearted people. Ray, Graeme and Mike did, too. May the 3 of them rest in peace.

The closeness of the band members even extended to their families… This closeness was reflected in the warmth and depth of their music… Not even The Beatles can say that….

The Moodies have been spiritual advisors since 1968. God bless them all.

Love John. Loved his solo album Natural Avenue. Very personal romantic time. "Who Can Change?" One of the greatest love songs ever. The 2nd time I saw the Moody Blues 15 years after the 1st time, (And this time they were accompanied by orchestra.) I spared no expense and had a front row seat w/my girl at the time and John made eye contact w/me as he ventured to the edge of the stage. Priceless.

Lucky enough to have met the whole band plus their then additional musicians several years ago at a dinner, wonderful evening, wonderful guys all with so much time to share, the evening made by being given a signed cd, no better band ever.

Moody blues fan since 1967. Days of Future past. And everything in between all the way up to strange times. As with all great artist whether it's in music or art or literature it is when they're long Dead and gone that their great work is finally recognized and that will be the case with The Moody blues that they are popular worldwide still their truly great talent for writing and producing musical alchemy has not yet been realized.

I'm glad that John got a chance to visit with Graeme before he died. Death isn't an easy thing to deal with, but hopefully the visit made the situation at least a little bit easier for John, knowing that he got to visit with him before he died.

He was retired then. He passed away right before the Rock & Roll of Fame induction in 2018. He knew they were going to be inducted! My first concert was in 1972 at the St. Louis Arena. It was the best Band experience of all time to this day! Then as the years went by 1987, 1993, and two times in 2000's in Branson, MO. We met them in 1993 at the Riverport Venue. It was the greatest experience!oh forgot! More Concerts in the 70's! Followed their Message as I still do today!

Ray Thomas retired around 2002 and passed in January 2018, just before their Hall Of Fame induction.

Ray Thomas died shortly before the Moodies were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Finally!) in 2018. It's unfortunate to hear that Graeme Edge has since passed, yet it's somehow appropriate that he died on what we, here in the States, call Veterans Day. Although they never fought in a war or served in the armed forces, Graeme Edge and Ray Thomas truly were Veteran Cosmic Rockers!

Always seem to me as a LONG time Moody Blues fan from as early as their first hit songs, that John & Ray with always close and this and previous interviews prove that out yet with Justin & Ray, (I could be wrong) there seemed a coolness in the air.. Plus at the Lack of Rock n Roll Hall of Shame that they were not inducted before many lesser bands.. Much the same as ELP or YES. After founding members passed on.. Seems toe mean less.. John in a CZcams video doing Ray's hit song Legend of A Mind..

Still irks me how the Moodies airbrushed Patrick Moraz out of their publicity, album covers etc. Without him I doubt they’d have had half the success they had in the 80’s. Still a big fan of Lodge, he’s keeping the Moody Blues music alive and puts on a brilliant live show.
