Yes dear friends I am totally addicted to my new 3d printer! I would like to give you a demonstration of how to slice a 3d model before it can be printed. The principle of 3d printing is that it is built up in small horizontal layers. The slicer says the name, it cuts it into slices just like a kind of MRI scan. In the video you can see the whole process how the support sticks are applied. These are calculated automatically with the leaning parts of the model. This ensures that extra sturdiness is created. Then the render will start where the slices are made and after the render is ready you can write the file for the printer.
