For those wondering this is a separate DLC from the character packs for about 2.99 USD. You basically take Yamato (Ally or player controlled depending on if you pick Yamato or not) around a map and try to find and complete as many tasks as possible within an allotted time limit. The more tasks you complete, the better your score at the end. The map ends when you lose all your health, when time is up, or when you stand on the exit portal on the map for long enough. If you lose all your health, your score is reduced as are your rewards. If time runs out, your score is what it is. If you leave before time runs out via the exit portal, you get a bonus added to your score. You can’t move on to a new map unless you complete all the tasks on the current map. It doesn’t have to be in one run, you have a checklist you can look at to see how many (not what though unless you look at thumbnails/screenshots of completed checklists) tasks are left to uncover and complete before selecting a map, though a “bonus” (I don’t know if it’s actually required in which case you do need to do all the tasks in one go; you get time added for each task completed at least) task is presented in runs where you do complete all tasks in one go, involving fighting a big bad, usually from one of the DLC character packs (including Hybrid Kaido and on the final map, Oden himself. They have new voice lines too if what I’ve heard is correct). Supposedly (I haven’t gotten around to going through it yet) it’s good for farming the new Soul drops that you use for the Soul Maps to unlock new and power up existing skills beyond Level 3 in addition to being able to Limit Break your characters (indicated in the opening by the status bars going dark and having a second layer). It comes with Soul Map 1 which has some new skills, namely Gear 5 Luffy’s passive that increases the duration of FFB/Form changes the larger your hit combo number is, a similar skill that increases attack in the same mode(s) proportionate to Hit count, a couple skills that increase attacks against Strong Enemies (one of them being regardless of whether they have Armor Break inflicted on them or not), and probably most importantly, two more skill slots. I’ve heard that Law’s Scan special is particularly good for farming Souls.
