Learn how to make seamless sublimation tumblers with different techniques and awesome results! One of my favorite parts of sublimation is how easy it makes customizing 3D items, especially skinny tumblers! They're fun and popular, and make amazing gifts. While sublimation tumblers take a bit of practice to perfect, especially creating a smooth and perfect seam for continuous designs, I've done all the experimenting for you and have lots of tips to get great results! Thanks for sharing the designs. I have had the best luck by taping over my tape with painters tape to get a good seal and then using an air fryer at 370 for 7 minutes. I have a tumbler press that came with my swing arm press but ive never been able to get the pressure right. You inspire me to try it again.

I don’t have your expertise but I use an air fryer at 360° F for 8 minutes. No shrink wrap or bands just heat resistant tape. I think my results are good and consistent.

Love the video - I have a convection oven but no felt pad. Could I remove the rack and put a piece of parchment paper under instead?
Parchment paper is coated and it holds in that moisture. It is not recommended for sublimation crafting.

We designed and made them on our 3D printer. We plan to share the print files on our blog at some point for anyone else who wants them. There are two styles -- the one on the left uses PVC pipes, so it’s height adjustable to your needs. The one on the right is all 3D printed except for the table, which is a piece of wood screwed to the legs. Both meet the requirements in Cricut’s Safety Instructions for “a flat and stable surface” as the Cricuts are just sitting on stable tables.

Hi Jennifer first I watch you videos all the time and you’re amazing love them. I tried my first skinny tumbler and for my first time not to bad. But I have messed up the seam, it didn’t press where I had the tape just wanting advice on how to fix that. Thanks 😊
Make sure that the design overlaps a bit and tape all the edges down and burnish them. Have it as tight as you can.
My tumbler press came into today, same as yours. 😊 I was wondering will the heating temperature light stop blinking when the heat temperature is ready?

This is a very helpful video, but I think I missed what temperature you used for the convection oven. Also, how would you do a tumbler if the oven is not tall enough for the tumbler to stand upright?

Nice video. I learned a lot. I pressed down the seam as you did, but I still got a little white line. Maybe not enough? For my first one it came out good other than that. It still holds drinks!!! LOL..

Hello, these would make great gifts. I was checking out the tumbler press on Amazon and was wondering how the presses could work for other projects. It looks like if I buy the press you linked to, I could also make other projects such as mugs and glass jars, if I just purchase the appropriate heater, is this right? Can you use a regular oven?
Can you use rubberbands instead of those bands or the shrink wrap?
And can I use a hair dryer instead of a heat gun with shrinkwrap?
Yes you can. Make sure the rubber bands are tight.

Hi, I know its been awhile since you posted this video, but as I was having my coffee just now, I saw a small design on the inside top of my mug (that was a repeat of the cat design on the outside) and thought to myself, hey, can we sublimate inside of a mug??? and so off to the internet I went to you your channel to see.. I searched other videos and no one really got it to work aside from a few saying sand worked (but others who tried it didn't get it to work, which would probably be my outcome if i tried)... so I am curious if you have ever tried it. Thank you again for all the great videos! I look forward to hearing from you 🙏

Many people use them and there are quite a few options out there, I don't use one myself though 💗

I use Cricut brand heat transfer tape.
Love this video but when I try to make them I get the message Image too Big. I am using the same measurements as you are in this video. I can make them wide enough but only allows me to make them 6.5" tall. What program are you using to be able to print. Thank You

Having an up to date newer computer is the way to go. I am an Apple user.

I'm using my Cricut Design Space to create the design, but when I try to print it, it says that the design is too large. I'm sizing it 9 1/2 by 8.1. What can I do?
The maximum size for print then cut is 9.25" x 6.75". You'd just want to adjust the size.
can i use brown butcher paper that is unbleached, unwaxed and uncoated for all sublimation projects?

The stands are made with a 3D printer that the Cricut machines are on. We plan to share them at some point.

I noticed your tumbler press closed all the way around the 20 oz tumbler. I have the PYD press and mine has about an inch gap at the top when I close it. Suggestions?
You will rotate a tumbler 180 degrees and then press again for the full length of time. Angie Holden has a good review on the PYD press that can be helpful. www.thecountrychiccottage.net/2-in-1-tumbler-press/
