He's my favorite goalkeeper ever since that 2011 run. Most complete goalkeeper ever and now, also one of the most accomplished as well (finished 3rd in the ballon d'or race during Messi-Cristiano peak, WC, CL, best GK in the world multiple seasons etc). If I had to build an all-time XI squad, Neuer is my goalkeeper 10/10 times.

Gegen Algerien war so heftig hätte mich in der 88.minute beim Stand von 0-0 nicht einfach so aus dem Kasten getraut

Ich, war damals meine erste WM (eigentlich 2010, aber da war ich 2), hab damals fast alle deutschen Spiele (bis auf USA und Algerien, hab aber dann am nächsten Tag die Wiederholung angeschaut) angeschaut, da hab ich mich förmlich in ihn verliebt und bin durch ihn selbst ein sehr solider TW geworden🙃👍😂

And people still don't give him enough credit... he was also a big time player for the 2014 Germany squad (the 7x1 really overrated that team, other than that destruction, there were some really close games and Neuer was clutch in all of them).
He has multiple saves in big moments and also against the best players of the generation. In terms of accomplishments, not many goalkeepers are on the same level as him.
Oh yeah, he also revolutionized the position. What Curry did to 3s in the modern NBA, Neuer did to the sweeper-keeper role.
A few more years and he's going to have a monster case as the greatest keeper ever.

Keepers are there to avoid avoidable shots. Unavoidable shots, as you might imagine, are unavoidable. The important part is that Neuer had a few chances to save his team and delivered.

Neuer is something else. Prime Neuer from 2013-2018 is very impossible to score from outside the box. Whenever I watch him played, it almost impossible to score against him. He build perfect for a keeper. 6ft 4 and weight at 205 pounds. Explosive quick agile great reaction and reflexes and good reading at the ball.
He is a total package and he is like Schmeichel

It's the positioning, the best a GK positions itself the easier it is to make the save, just look at Oblak he makes really difficult saves that doesn't look spectacular mostly for it's positioning and neuer does that really well. On top of that he is also really good with his feet.
I prefer Oblak but neuer will be my top 2 and the CL final he made was incredible.

Man kann nicht sagen,dass es irgend einen Keeper gibt,der so gut wie er ist. Es gibt welche die auch Weltklasse sind,aber nicht ganz auf diesem Niveau. Neuer hat sein eigenes Spiel entwickelt und so einen wird man wahrscheinlich nicht nochmal sehen

Manu ist aktuell so fit wie noch nie. Auf diesem Niveau kann Manu noch viele Jahre spielen, wenn er verletzungsfrei bleibt. Manu hat das Torwartspiel auf ein ganz neues Level gebracht. Zu recht ist er Welttorhüter. Wenn man einen Manuel Neuer hinter sich im Tor hat, kann man immer sein, dass er zur Stelle ist. 35 ist nur eine Zahl. Das Alter sieht man ihm überhaupt nicht an.
Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn Manu endlich seine Sammlung vervollständigen kann, mit dem EM Pokal. Dies ist der letzte Titel, der ihm noch fehlt.
Wer weiß, vielleicht klappt es ja, alles ist möglich.
