I definitely would say durability I played in my Zoo Pair Indoors only never touched out doors & that front part still started wearing away after like 2-3 wears but the shoe is freaking amazing & Tatum is my guy on my favorite team just hopefully they can fix that for the 2👍🏾💯 still getting other colorways cuz didn’t effect me playing but just hate to see ur shoe chipping so early in the wearing process especially after indoor play

You’re not the only one having durability issues. I’ve been seeing some people complaining on the same points. I have the st. Louis pair but don’t wear them much since I use my heals to shift a lot and that foam doesn’t grip the way the forefoot does. I feel if they put a little rubber on the back like the J 11’s it would improve it much more. Hopefully they improve this on the 2’s

Just got a pair, wore them once indoors in a 2 on 2 game. Very light, didn't hurt my feet and felt quick in them. I don't wear my BBall shoes outdoors. Concerned about the durability from the reviews though... May return them??

Tony I just found your channel recently amd really dig your vids man !!! Great job and just subscribed!!! I'm 41 6ft 6 185 can still get up and rip on rim but just got back into playing because my 2 boys almost 10 amd 8yrs old and starting to play competitively and got fire Goin inside myself again!!! Rocking the 37 low the zion 2 kd14 amd just got the puma scoots that I absolutely love. I tend to grab the 37 lows cuz I love the bounce but always lookin for next thing amd from what I'm seeing on your channel the j38 and zion 3 are for sure grabs for me amd possibly my oldest son but I personally think the zion 2 were one of most underrated shoes in 2022. Take care man and just a lot of fun sitting here now cleaning out gutters on my house lol and took a break to tune in. The tatum 1 has been a hard pass. Need good support and lot of bounce!!!
Appreciate you watching, all great sneakers you named there. Zion 2 is definitely underrated. I still love the Tatum 1’s tho, I like low cut sneakers and lightweight kicks. If your sons are playing indoors I don’t see why they shouldn’t try a pair of Tatum 1’s. But again there’s so many options in the market now you can’t really go wrong. Cheers

I wore the barbershop color way for 2 games at an Indoor 3v3 tournament and the rubber on the outsole of the forefoot started to come off lol. I believe it was just a defect in the manufacturing process and they just didn’t glue it down right but it made me mad. 😂

@@gus3333 I feel you. I didn’t want to return because I really liked the color way but when I did return I tried to exchange for the same shoe but they were out of stock online and have been since.
I just had to take my sons shoes back. I bought them Friday he played in them Saturday and Sunday I’m back at the Nike shoe cause a chuck came out the side
How does that floating forefoot cushion feel? Is it weird or does it feel natural when you're playing?
It feels really good to be honest. The shoe being so lightweight it just feels more bouncy

Hi, I'm from the Philippines and we don't have a lot of wooden floor courts here. Is this still good to be played on a cement rubber painted court though?
Still indoor, covered court. But not a wooden floor

My only sole problem with the JT1's, that's why I didn't pull the trigger. Despite loving how all the colorways look, the outsole foam couldn't really last that long. Such a bummer.

are you able to take your insoles out? Mine are kinda glued in I think and they dont feel right on the court, thinking they might be fakes.

Is this PF version? Is PF version more durable for outdoor play?
I doubt it, the Tatum 1 shoes in general has the foam outsoles so that's the issue. I'd imagine they will correct that in the Tatum 2, whether it's developing a new more durable foam or just using a rubber outsole.
@MrTonyMui i bought a pair yesterday the tatum 1 old school here in SG and it says its the pf version which i guess it suitable on outdoor court. And it has also the xdr tag which says its durable. Im looking for video reviews comparing the standard release and the pf version. I dont know if there is a big difference in materials. Thanks nice video though 👍

They knew durability was going to be an issue, they were hoping we would ignore this and buy more shoes.
I mean I think hooping indoor with them is fine. Which that’s what JT does in NBA arenas so I get it. Gotta cater to him first.

Indoor use only, the outer sole chip away. But the side panels have torn and ripped, no material strength.

Tatum 1s are horrivle the plastic thing on the bottom on mu sons broke 2nd Gane mine broke 3rd time normal wearing and they squeek now. They should be recalled and give everyone their mone back

@@MrTonyMui close to it though, you weren't on a normal indoor court, you can clearly see the texture on the court🤣 I've got 2 pairs and they DO NOT look like that after one game on an outdoor court. And I'm 6’3 110kgs. You drag your feet. That’s obvious in how your shoes look lil man ❤️😂
would u recommend using it on a court that has like a track type of floor outdoor?
I would not. Only court I recommend it be on is hardwood floors
