  • In this tutorial we will use the machine in free roam on Glasgow - Edinburgh and will go over setup, starting, stopping, resetting from TPWS/AWS activation, reset from Emergency Braking, shutting down and changing ends. The Skyhook Games Class 158 is magic let's learn how to drive it properly including using the guard mode door control panels.

Thanks for yet another great informative tutorial. Added to the never ending TSW4 shopping list. A week ago I travelled on four Transport for Wales 158's and all made quite a noise when breaking, strange this version makes no noise to speak of.

@@Robert.S459 it likely depends where you sit on the real one, I used 158s in Wales too in May and I didn't notice any particular sound over the top of the passengers - I don't hear anything much in my videos have you got any examples?

Hi again - I tried the train this morning and it definitely plays brake sounds but they are quiet. I checked my videos and another colleague Josh found me some example videos and the sounds are quiet on these IRL. Much quieter than other Sprinter trains. I've offered the feedback to Skyhook that perhaps it could be brought up beyond what is realistic so its easily heard. Here is an example on YT czcams.com/video/LLRGkyJ6UOU/video.htmlsi=b2ghmz0Jpx6VzWwE the brake sounds in this are similar to the game.

@@trainsimulatordriver Sadly I have not. I took a Video of the train arriving at Craven Arms and there was not much in the way of noise from the brakes. The noise occurred whilst travelling at speed, it may have been a transmission noise on overrun when throttling off.

@@trainsimulatordriver It was mechanical. It could have been down shifts in the transmissions maybe.
