My dad bought this Vespa - Sprint Veloce 150cc
back at 1974 brand new!
It was his first transportation vehicle.
All these years he maintained it in a very good level.
It also was my first vehicle and I have lived many beautiful moments with it.
After many years that we left it in a garage gathering dust,
I took the decision to rebuild it and make it look like I wished... (when I was a teenager).
I took this decision on a sunny day back at April 6 of 2010.
What was going to worth more?
The final result of the restoration...
Or the process of it?
Our dreams cannot be discounted.

PunkOUTcast68 same hear mate can’t afford one at the minute although I have bought a Chinese leximoto copy of the Vespa for peanuts which does look the part and it does the trick for now but in no way does it cut the mustard like a Vespa mate.
I bought a PX125 4th june,2018. All I can say is its AWESOME :D

i used to tell her that when i was 5 (1960) i went out with my dad on his vespa gt150 (i am sure this is the right model i remembered - kickstart, with manual gears) to buy groceries and visiting family's friends, very frequently. she still remember that well. so, when i took the vespa brochure back from the showroom, she got a hint to what my valentine present should be. when i drive a vespa, my memories go to my dad (he passed away when i was only 11). keep up the good vid and tks for bring back back my good old memories :)

I may happy to see and ride my scooter even in my old age.

In India this scooter ruled for several of years. Early in 60s it came as Vespa 150 with their Indian partner Bajaj auto .Later on they converted it into Bajaj CHETAK 150 .I have a Bajaj Chetak till now.
