As a white man married to a black woman I'm ashamed of the history of this country as it pertains to civil rights. Racism is still alive because our politicians see the benefit. One side uses it to display it's 'generosity ' but in reality does nothing to help. Leaving the other side trying to open the paths of development but can't because the cooperation isn't there. It's a sad situation that will be hard to resolve because of the mistrust that has been sown.
