First appearance of Venom on cover and first cameo appearance of Domino. Already worth substantially more and will continue to climb.

AND... a few short years later those "non key" issues that were never going to go up. The X-force is selling "SELLING" for 110-160.00 and the Amazing Spiderman is SELLING for 400-500.00.
Both books are actually minor keys. X‐force is the first appearance of the real Domino. The book most people call her first appearance is actually Copy Cat portraying Domino.
And the ASM #315 is the first Venom arc.

You got deep fried on both of those. However all of a sudden the comic market went crazy. That 315 just sold a couple times for $350. Doubt you still have it though.
For what it’s worth, the ASM 315 is the actual first appearance of Venom. Note the cover. Most people think it’s 316. Whether that becomes Hulk 180 situation is unlikely, but not impossible!

Fifty bucks is pretty good man, it’s not like it crappy modern crap from the 2000s that are worth mostly 5 dollars or less. If you lost money buying off these boxes then buy from a different seller.

X-Force #8 is the 1st appearance of the real Domino and with the DeadPool movies she'll get more and more famous and this one will be sought after. Won't break the bank, but it should be around $75-100 graded 9.8 like that.

Xforce 8 is sometimes considered 1st domino as opposed to xforce 11. That asm 315 is first partial cover app of venom. There are worse books to pull

Lol. ASM 315 as pointed out is technically venoms first cover appearance and x-force 8 has two first appearances-CGC 9.8 slabs.....he got what he paid for considering 20 years from now a cgc 9.8 asm 315 will easily fetch $300 duh.

the X-Force has first appearance of Domino and The Six Pack.. yea, not major characters, but still is something... and Etsy has an New Mutants #98 CGC Graded 9.6 and signed by Rob Liefield and Fabian Nicieza .. just an FYI :) i wont tell the price on here, i have collected comics for 25 years, i think the asking price is a bit high but i know its cause of the Deadpool appearance so the price is probably typical for a signed edition

Oh man you can tell right away that X-Force #8 is a Rob Liefeld cover. Hilarious proportion, unnatural body positions, comical muscles, etc. I mean, it's still a 1000000x better than anything I could ever draw, it's just that he has a very...distinctive style.

@@alsherman2821 Yep, I was a fan of Cable, and his Image Comics work growing up (well some of Youngblood), but it wasn't for the art. And he helped create Deadpool, so yeah, he knows how to create characters.
Yeah only big thing about Xforce #8 was it had a cameo appearance of Domino and thr Origin of Cable but def nothing to make it stand out. Now if it was issue #2 then you'd be foin a lil better as that one was the 2nd appearance of Deadpool.

costs approx. 30 to grade, which means it s a 10 dollar comic max for that x force
So who wants a 10 dollar comic that's 40 cuz its graded and sold by a seller as a mystery box and makes 60 bucks off the buyer, Nice Scam....
If you don't like the books sell for what you lost then but mystery grab bags are what they are

Well, I brought 2 comic books 1962 Superman #284 and other one I can't remember what issue number is but going to get them graded.. They said it would take 2 months to get them back.. I wouldn't say it mint but fair condition. Hope I did okay on it?

So people are paying for it being graded because the X force not graded and I couldn't tell you quality but $5 and this wasn't online and the Spiderman doesn't have much value but once again these are not graded and it's under his $20 and under but this is a local comic book store and I would actually spend money on a graded Spiderman comic for a personal collection but I wonder what the big hits are and how many are available because that what mystery boxes are a mystery.
if you had/have held these book to today, you could get lightly more than your money back on the ASM 315 but still a big loser on the X-Force 8 :(

The Spiderman book wasn't so bad, but the X-Force.. that's almost as bad as one of those weird Image books like Wildcats or Wetworks. Blegh. xP

You're certainly right about at least one of the books not being worth getting graded. There's a cgc 9.8 copy of Xforce #8 at the local shop for $27. I'm looking at it right now actually. The guy behind counter is telling me it's been here for about 5 years and he'll knock $5 bucks off the price.
He's got 7 issues bagged and boarded for $2 each.
Seems like the value on that particular book is in the plastic case.
The guy thinks the Spiderman book was worth it. He said he's either sold it himself or seen others sell it for $10 to $15 bagged and boarded while cgc graded copies in the 9 or higher grade go for between $50 & $80.
It's comic books though. One day they're worth nothing,the next a fortune, a week later nothing and so on.
