- Rumor has it that Kerry James's new role in another TV show might be pulling him away from Heartland. Heartbreaking, right? Caleb's divorce drama is intensifying, and it looks like he might have to pack his bags and leave Hudson, and worse, leave the show. We're not ready to say goodbye just yet!
Amy, our favorite equestrian extraordinaire, is back at it, lending a helping hand to a vaulting team before a crucial competition. But the real juicy part? She's getting closer to Nathan, the good guy who's been proving himself. We might even see these two lovebirds on official dates by the end of the season. However, Nathan's past in Hudson is shrouded in mystery, and it's about time we uncover why he left high school. It turns out, family troubles were the culprit. I did take a deep breath of surprise when it was evident he was leaving the show. I was then disappointed but like Graham Wardle, he found a new opportunity to explore. I will miss his character because he fit right in to the role. Real, sincere and loving his students. Like many Heartland characters, at the very least he will probable back for a periodic cameo.
I’m so sorry that Kerry is leaving Heartland. I still haven’t gotten used to Ty leaving. I was hoping Caleb and Amy would be a couple. But I guess that won’t happen now. At least he didn’t die in the show, so he could come back for visits.
I wish Kerry James the best of luck for his future plans. ❤️
I noticed that ever since season 7, I've been FFW any parts that have just Lou & Peter. True.

I hate to see Kerry go. Although I can't see a romance between Caleb and Amy, I would really like him to stay. I don't know why they had him divorce and why they just don't have his wife off camera. I hope he'll be back at least occasionally. Maybe his exwife can find a job much closer - and maybe he can remarry. I didn't think she was a very interesting character, but the writers could have fixed that. i will miss Kerry and Caleb.

I like Caleb,he is the best he was down to earth and a loveable guy to be around with its just to bad that he's leaving all the good actors are leaving and the ones that should leave stay behind maybe ,it's a shame he will be missed who is Amy going to run to when she needs a friend to talk to .
Yes he was a friend to Amy and she will soon wish he was back to talk to. Amy needs a couple gals to confide in. Always will remember the scenes with Jack always after Caleb for his lack of work or Ashley & Caleb and that trailer, Caleb breaking Ty out of the hospital and on and on! If he goes he will be missed.
At times didn't like his character then liked him ! He was all over the map. He kept your head spinning!😂 Wish him best of luck in his new endeavors.

I hope you are right. It would be nice to have him and Amy get together after all. Maybe this distance will make her heart grow fonder towards him. The look in his eyes when he said “I love you, Amy” when he was saying goodbye to her definitely matched his words.
