I learned this by putting the string around the sticks and throwing the diabolo that way with this sticks before catching it with the whip. I don't understamd how throw it properly

try practicing suns first - I did my first sun in that direction by turning with it and facing it throughout instead of in the back 🍀
doing it that way, you might need to detangle it afterwards though 😅
