  • The AfroAtlantic Theologies & Treaties Institute is honored to co-organize the event with its London based partners, Way Wive Wordz and Ancestral Voices. The online commemoration took place across several time zones on Friday May 15th 2020
    Spiritual leaders and guest artists from Benin Republic, Cameroon, Ghana, Great Britain, Guyana, Haiti, South Africa, and United States of America pay honor to the writer of: Zulu Shaman: Dreams, Prophecies, and Mysteries; Indaba, My Children: African Folktales; Songs of the Stars: The Lore of a Zulu Shaman, and several more titles. Hosted by Sister Michelle Yaa Asantewa, and Brother Dalian Adofo; Officated by HM Queen Mother Dòwòti Désir Hounon Houna II, featuring Baba Menes de Griot, Sister Tossie Long, Yeye Lusia Teish, Sister Naima Shalhoub, Sister Fania Davis, Sister Nozipho Mutwa, Rev. Désirée Watts, Buxton Fusion, Brother John Asobo, Afuraka Cameroon, Chief Olaifa Okemuyima, the Amufawunni of Agbaye, and Gonondo Sheila Mbele Khama.
    The ceremony was joined by participants from around the world for this memorable "Leaving the World" or Ukushiya Umhlaba tribute for Sanusi Vusuamazulu Credo Mutwa.
