I've watched more than 10 of these videos, and if I knew what country they were in, and if land was available, as well as these women who are masterfully skilled...I would buy a parcel, pay them to build us a place, and totally live the "simple life". No politics. No crime, (to speak of). And no crowds of angry and disrespectful people to deal with. I take the elements of a jungle any day over the trials and tribulations of "civilized" city life.
Great job from 2 beautiful, strong, hard working women! Just imagine what they could build if there was a Home Depot nearby.
How amazing this two women can build a house skillfully with minimal tools. With all the modern tools at home, I could hardly build a planter🤪.

Whenever I feel the weight of everyday life in the modern world, I watch these women and get inspired! We have so many conveniences and we complain so much and deal with so many issues. But could we survive for one day without the ease to access bare essentials? I don’t think many of us could especially once our iPhone dies.

I can spot an american comment anywhere. It is not the american schools responsibility to teach kids to do stuff like this. Thats the parents job to teach their kids how to survive. These little women were taught by their parents and they were taught by their parents who were taught by their parents. so if you want your kids to learn this stuff. Best learn it yourself first, American.

It’s the general heart of wanting best for the coming generations. Because I do heartily agree with you, kids NEED to learn this first and foremost from home, from their parents and elders. America is suffering on the education platform both at home and in school. But yes it should most definitely start at home. However I also support what Cathy suggests. Instead of useless “skills“ they’re teaching kids, stuff like this would be a valuable inclusion for their education. You both are correct. 🥂
You are two beautiful young women, and you are true masters at your craft. you walk in a wood or forest, with just 2 basic tools and build a house out off clay and wood, or dig a palace under ground. I am in awe off young people like you. You are dedicated, hard working, highly skilled young women. I'm sure there must be someone here that could do that, but I don't know anyone, and I couldn't. And you don't sit chatting about, you both know what's to do. You are truly Amazing. I really love hard working people like you. I wish you all the success you deserve

Pretty sure big rain maybe destroy them, or?
I’m a carpenter/roofer by trade and always going to a job with a van full of tools and if a battery dies in any of the power tools or a Stanley blade snaps or can’t find the hammer I want I’m almost crying and throwing a fit and these girls do it all with one tool and whatever they can use in the jungle. Puts me to shame and it’s great to watch👍👍
These girls are amazing, aren't they? I couldn't stop watching so far all their viedos because it's so fantastic.
It seems like that game called "Minecraft" that the caracter (Steve) needs to survive all by himself. He does all tools with primitive resources to build a shelter, he needs hunting animals to eat, he plants vegetables.

This could boost their tourism industry, there is plenty of land to build on, let them build a village for tourists to stay in, do weekly excursions to see the sights and have native food, lots of animals to photograph, think of the money..

When the rainy season comes, doesn't this all wash away?
If the clay hardens sufficiently, they will stay that way for sometime. But these projects look like they're just displaying their skills and not really permanent housing options. If they were used as permanent houses, then yes, eventually they will wash away but slowly. You can probably live in this type of clay house for quite some time. If they lived in them for a long time, one option is to make roofing out of those large palm leaves and cover the clay roofs and the sides of the houses or where clay is exposed so that the rain will just roll off the leaves and leave the clay dry. I am from a small Pacific Island nation. We have developed over the past 50 years to where we now build our homes using concrete and good lumber that can last for over 30, 40, even 50 years. In the early days, we could build similar homes but using coconut leaves woven into convenient roofing materials for roofs, etc. We did not use clay like what these girls are using because we had permanency in mind. Well, as long as our structures of wood and other materials could conceivably last.
Anyway, I concur. These two young women are just super amazing! I wish I could have one of them for a wife! lol.

Behind the scenes there is a construction crew of men cutting down trees, processing the materials and supplying everything needed to build these houses. A little girl cutting down an 8 to 10cm tree with those little hand hatches would take a very long time.
