what is match day?? | med school explained

Based on the algorithm NRMP uses, you should rank based on where you want to go without thinking how other people rank. In your scenario, if your home program ranked you above the other applicant, if you didn't make it at your reach and you fell to them as your 2nd choice, you would still match over the other applicant even though they ranked it 1. The only way they would match over you is if your home program ranked them higher.

Thanks for this video. I will need to do my Prerequisite classes for my Master's in GC but I have a Match process I will need to go through for my GC Programs. And we have Rank List as well for the GC Programs.
