I can't believe he's no more. I can only hope that in my lifetime I can achieve a tenth of his passion and rigour in everything I do. Ciao Philippe, you genius.
"It's ze old school from ze hipop" :) Philippe was like the coolest guy in France ❤
So much wisdom in one video. We lost a real big boss. RIP Philippe
This guy made a lasting impression on pop music. RIP.
All we need is analogic... in our lives full of digital world where you don’t have time to think because there is no time to wait... une grande perte et un grand monsieur, moitie de cassius et producteur. R.I.P et merci Phillipe
This guy is a master. More like this, please.
Rest in peace, merci pour toute la musique
One of the greatest albums ever and mellow dude. RIP.

Excellent. There were a lot of little gems in there.
Great interview. Great questions too.
Produced one of if not the greatest Phoenix album he’s ever produced.
I love Zdar so much

"Everybody is doing the same - i told you its like ac/dc" 27:09 great! for sure the most sympathic interview ever seen in this channel :) thanks a lot fm

What a master! Free´s my mind listening to what he tells, great value in his teachings, superb❤️ So Grateful for what he have given to me and to Music!🙏🏾
These videos, always want to get me mixing. It's great :)
At 21.50 he s so honest. You can see in his face his frustration
Loving the UE 100 in the background 😁
This is fascinating
you gotta watch this "in a studio" so you can boost up the volume :)
so quiet lol
Great great guy!!!!
Merci Phillipe Zdar :)
Sleep peacefully , poor soul :(
finally a session where the guy explains how things work and not the usual i did this because it sounded good
i love it
Rest in Peace Philippe.
Bom estudio!!!
R.E.P. tu vas nous manquer
I also agree with you and I knew exactly what you meant about the live recording production skill of rock musicians. With today's technology with computer software, just about any newb can put out a song, most of which overlooks the production quality value.
you're probably correct about that yeah. no idea why the volume is so low though!
REST IN PEACE my man
Another big loss for the music business, R.I.P. Philippe!
Was this shot with a camcorder in 1995?
@Underground 4 The Masses yeah, all good with the vintage love but the audio it's horrible.
magic!
good video.
Zdar forever
that would be really apprectiated :) and i know a lot of people would watch!
Kool Dude!
that was a good one
epic!

Jadore Phillip

Rest In Peace...
In the studio With Knife party! :D
how would low volume help that?
definitely going to try the "mouillette" tip
SIDECHAIN :)
'The wetty'
Sometimes I like to view again his explanation so I'll post the minute when he talk about 'the mouillette' and sidechain: 10:00
PLS IN THE STUDIO WITH ATB
I would be curious to learn about the automation part
nevermind, it takes just takes practice. awesome video also love music
Pls a in the studio with calvin Harris!! :)
yeah but they also got episodes with avicii and SHM... but probably you're right :D
hahaha funniest sidechain explanation 11:22
in the studio with one direction! =)
RIP :(
cassius!!!
In the Studio With JACK BEATS!
Phillipe reminds me so much of Alistair from Escape to the Country.
they dont need it, but i do!!!
Around 8:50 when describing the mix of real and sampled drums does he keep saying, "like Madeon music"?
kewl ;)
30:38 Which "James Guy" is he talking about? I can't quite figure it out.
pls in the studio with ummet ozcan :)
I have your fix :3
Right click volume icon, Playback devices , Enhancements, then turn on the Loudness equalization setting.
Refresh the page and it will help :3
How he get that voice effect that looks like doubling the voice? 16:10
It’s an adt but probably not sourced from tape delay but maybe from the onboard flange that Zdar liked to use.
Can't upload in 720p at least?
genius
like modern music
RIP
hey please do in the studio with some psytrance/progressive artists, like neelix, astrix, coming soon, day.din, grouch, tom cosm... just to name a few
why is the audio so low
I think my comment was completely misunderstood here. It was not meant as hate. Sometimes good intention can be perceived as something bad.
26:43 nice bass
Is that the same studio as Four Tet's?
I think he says "Modern music"
Is He the one that Produced entertainment?
