How is this aweoseome, couple good songs mixed with random generic music and gay pictures (and not gay as in happy, gay as in perverted erotica). If this is "awesomeness" for you, then I feel sad for you, for you have not yet heard real music.

An honest question: why would anyone dislike this?? Each song here is fantastic (so that can't be the 'problem') and we get to listen to this epic music for 3 hours (as long as you like epic music, that's always a plus!). What's not to love?
I would say its people who don't like this kind of music but I tend to think that they would rather avoid it than even click on the video. However, considering that people have openly admitted to disliking a video just because they know they don't like it before they even touch it, I am also not surprised. Beyond that, it never made sense to me considering that even if you dislike the video, it still ends up trending because it still counts as "activity". Funny how people don't think about that.

I love this playlist so much! My 15yo self lives inside these songs and images and every time I listen to it I am transported back into my childhood bedroom 10 years ago. Daydreaming about fanfiction, the books I've read and the stories and worlds I was building in my mind.

I've seen quite a few by some artists who work really hard to make a living off of their art, both in the U.S. and in Canada. Some I know personally.
It's not very cool of you to rip off their artwork without giving them at least the benefit of the credit for it.

it suprises me that they don't use these types of music for movies. My god...
Most are used in trailers, typically. Two Steps From Hell has a well-known history of having their music be used in trailers.
However, a full film score is a completely different story. These shorts are great for trailers because of how quickly you pass through the emotional beats. Films can be cut to fit a trailer within that timeline much easier than it is to spread the music out across an entire film. That is why in many cases, trailers are sometimes better than the films themselves.
That said, if you were to contract say Two Steps From Hell to do an entire film score, the results would look closer to Lord of the Rings than it would one of these individual pieces. Personally, I think that is nothing but solid gold, but it also comes down to if the composers want to even bother with the task for just continue to write shorts. I think it would be awesome to have TSFH or Audomachien (just to name two) do a film score, but I also would not be surprised if many have tried to pitch this already and failed. It could be a lack of interest, or it could be a doubt of skill. Composing a whole film score is not the same as a small piece like these.
Would love to see them try it though. I often listen to their music on a 200+ track playlist when I write and some of the pieces have even inspired or helped me write entire scenes or create entire characters. I have a character solely inspired by the piece Blood Red Roses.
@@christopherpoet458 Small world! lol I listen to them as well when I'm writing my script for scenes and for actions that go on throughout it! Such as a fight scene or chase haha. But I understand. Are goes into an entire film than just a short 2-4 mins. I understand that the action isn't the only thing in a film. But as you did man it would be interesting for them to try for sure!
@@djblue056 TSFH among others have been a massive motivator in the continued development of my world-building. Sometimes the tune is just right. Sometimes it just helps me calm my head so I can think straight. Sometimes it fits so well with what I am writing it can be an inspiration on its own. I like some songs, like Blood Red Roses (which inspired the creation of one of my characters) but more often than not, I turn to instrumental. I have always dreamed to one day sit across a desk from Thomas Bergerson or someone equally talented and share their hand with an agreement for them to compose the music for my work. It would be a dream come true at its finest.
Maybe, one day, I could talk someone into it but first things first, getting past the starters phase.
I don't think I could ever put into words how much I appreciate and value the work these composers do.
@@christopherpoet458 I understand completely. I feel that way towards Audio Machine and others that inspire my writing with their beautiful pieces. The starter phase isn't easy I know just as well. And finding an artist is just as hard. I already have someone that is willing to compose music but an artist is still a struggle.
But dream hard man! two years ago I had no script and saw no light at the end of the tunnel, but since then I started writing and never looked back. I'm not where I want to be but I'm moving in the right direction. Like yourself I hope I can sit across a room form someone that I admire and speak to them about composing the work that I wrote :)
