Thank you thank you thank you for this wonderful talk. I love listening to in-depth personal historical journeys while I'm painting. The good, the bad and the creative. Love it!
I cried when I visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, in Cleveland. So many of my music heroes had already died. Most I never saw live,...but I dedicated my youth to their music. I'm still a huge fan of those people.
I was once dragged to a David Bowie Concert at the Tweeter Center in Tinley Park IL. in the mid 1990's . Bowie's guitarist was Adrian Belew who lived in the Chicago area for years so that David Bowie introduced him as Adrian Belew from Chicago . It was the best concert I was ever taken to. Bowie was so fn professional doing all his music like it was heard on the RADIO. The show was so good , It was like seeing Frank Zappa or Neil Young just to mention a couple of North Americans', talented , and creative , especially live shows.
I met Bowie a few times and he was the coolest guy ever... he treated everyone he met like an old friend. Got to see his last tour when he was doing all his old songs and it's one of the best shows I ever saw!
Elvis then the Beatles . Bob is exactly right about the 2 most popular acts in the world for years. That is why even to this day there are many Elvis Impersonators and many people of that era actually have fun seeing those acts. Elvis was a God even bigger than "the king" especially to women back then.
I had respect for Elvis, but as time has passed and I’ve gotten older, that respect has waned . She shouldn’t die on a toilet at 42, due to a life of drug excess.
Good talkin but I guess it merely confirms being a success is more pure luck than being obtainable through knowledge and work and that's another knife in my gut.

11/2023....This one was so good, this is the 2nd time I'm listening to it.
Bad Santa 🎅 is one of the funniest movies ever made....
Amen
Billy Bob in fargo was truly genius.
'One False Move' was an awesome movie.
Just a regular guy (with millions, well deserved)
Billy Bob played some noir characters,....The Barber, in black & white. And The Man Who Was Never There. An absurd, surreal movie. Both excellent.
Thank for uploading.
Billy Bob is the man

Thank you Marck for your talk on immigration.
Shakey's had the best lunchtime pizza buffets.
They also had a good mushroom
Marc has it right
Billy Bob is a national treasure,....He came off as a gangster type,...but he is an actor. He's no gangster.
Sad news,.....William Hurt just died, in April of 2022.

pure… luck?
Sorry, but ten thousand dollars isnt nothing to some of us...
he got Hank Hill on the podcast? Cool
BB. Has a 1/2 foot in music
Good listen/interview - once the hyperbole nonsense about children being tortured and crying over David Bowie at the start was finished.
You need to video these podcasts like Joe Rogan does.
I often wondered why he doesn't film them. I reckon its much more comfortable for the guests that makes for a better interview
@@kitchenpeurter Absolutely. Getting a camera in there would destroy the vibe and turn this into a run of the mill celebrity interview show.
@@kitchenpeurter cheaper too
He cheats at golf.
Billy Bob is a mess. A fan
