I would've loved to see another kiss, but I think Dana made the right call saving it until "Clouds on the Horizon." It's just perfect for the moment and it has so much emotional impact.

I think the kiss we got on Clouds on the Horizon is more meaningful than what we could've seen in Reaching Out, personally
I'm happy to see this storyboard, but the actual kiss that we got is kinda unexpected and beautiful. "Reaching Out" is already full of things and this kiss could be to much.
Now that you mentioned it, does that mean, there were a deleted version of Watching and Dreaming that involved the entire HexSquad fighting Belos?

Honestly, while it would’ve been very cool to see a Lumity kiss in Reaching Out, I understand of why Dana didn’t include it, Luz was already dealing with the fact that it’s the anniversary of her father’s passing and that she isn’t with Camila to do it. So from a writing perspective it made sense.
Plus, it wasn’t a complete loss as we did got a kiss scene in Clouds on the Horizon and Watching and Dreaming.

We could have had 3 lumity kisses but i think by far the kiss in "clouds on the horizon" was a bit more impacful, emotional, real and unexpected which lets be honest we all died to, screamed to or even danced to which makes it so good but still really wished this was included in the show but it is what it is. Thank you for releasing the storyboard tho it gives us more things to love about the show

Pin me too, Cass! Dana totally did the right thing saving the kiss til "Clouds on the Horizon" which made it more earned! There was already so much sadness going on in "Reaching Out" with Luz mourning her dad😢

I would've loved to see this whether it happened or not but tbt I was totally fine waiting for the kiss for the season 2 finale. It happened at a great moment and I feel like if it did get added to the episode it kinda doesn't fit too well, at least in my opinion.
I can't believe that there a alternate scene of the episode reaching out that there a kiss on the lips of Luz and Amity for the first time but in my opinion i understand that they changed because its not the right time for Lumity to go on that step especially that Luz is grieving that she is not in the traditional anniversary with her mother of her father passing away and even if they did that step is like she grieving hard that she kiss Amity for that like if it she too pain emotional for mentioning her dad death its almost like a Scum wish kinda way im just saying. Ps Dana did the right thing to put the first kiss on the Clouds of the Horizon (the semi final episode of season 2) because in the reaching out is not the right time also man i want the Owl House to return more episodes, special movie, 3 or 4 spin off like Young Eda, Lillith and Raine adventure in the Boiling isles where they show they time together after Lillith accidentally ruined her sister life and see young Eda adventure in the human realm, Luz and the gangs adventure in the human realm that has been timeskip, Vee adventure in the human realm during Luz time in the Boiling isles till Luz and Gangs came back in season 2 finale, and the other timeskip that has been 4 years to see Luz family (and by family i mean human realm and Boiling isles family, her girlfriend and friends from the Boiling isles) traveling and spending time in both realms.
Yeah me too that would be the most greatest thing ever if we could get that!
