Jin is the oldest member in the group, but in his family Jin is the youngest child. He tries to look after and take care of members of the BTS, even though he himself is not experienced in that. He is amazing.

1. Jin once revealed his father started him doing pushups when he was five years old. Out of habit, he exercises every day.
2. In the clip where he’s ‘crying’ and eating cold noodles with Kookie,... he told JK to pick different songs and he’d react to the mood of the song as he ate.

The first time I ever laid eyes on a BTS video, my first impression of Jin was that he's an actor or a model because of his stunning looks or what people in the K-pop world call - VISUAL.
I haven't seen other comments about this, but I do want to say that Jin was actually very shy! He is definitely confident in who he is, and is quite chaotic, especially now in 2019, but before he was shy and mostly doing it to make the other members laugh/feel more comfortable. Thank you for reacting to this!

There are two main complaints about this series: 1) there are some info that is wrong and some outdated, but people can just correct in the comments and 2) people usually say this is not a great series for a first introduction to BTS, but you know them enough at this point imho, I don't think the humour it's gonna be cringey. 🤷♀️ I love Squishy's videos though, so there's that.
Hopefully you guys do help correct any info that is wrong but so far we enjoyed this first one from the series! Thanks for the heads up
@@MexineseFamily That I can remember on the spot: Jin and Yoongi are not roommates anymore (only Hoseok and Jimin still are) cause they each have a room in the new apartment and when she talks about Tae, I think that's a bit outdated cause Tae still has his random moments but has become quite a bit more calm recently.
I'm gonna watch it again later and see if I pick up something else though.

Jin only has one sugar glider now, Gukmul, 'cause Odeng and Eomuk passed away (and he recently released a song that he wrote thinking about them and his dog Jjangu, who also passed away, give a listen 👍).
Obviously he's been playing piano _a lot more_ since this video was made, we've all seen Epiphany live performances.
Lots of people don't like it when he's called the mum of the group: Seokjin and Namjoon are both dads, thank you very much everyone.

Ps: being really good looking is a stereotype of idols in general, it's not an EXO thing, Jin was scouted for his good looks by both SM and BigHit after all.

But Jin was also scouted by Big Hit for his good looks. These entertainment agencies see potential on people, but at the end it all depends on their own hard work. And Jin was able to prove that he can sing and dance amazingly!
Thank you so much for doing this particular series! I absolutely love Squishy Min Youngi and all the compilations she does so lovingly for all the members! Actually this series started out with the youngest but starting out with the oldest or any order for that matter is absolutely fine! I love how this series shows so many older rare clips of BTS during their rookie years as well! Also showing humor throughout these intros as well. These intros are so good & so entertaining that I could probably actually see all of them at one time! Lol!! I will be looking forward to seeing all of them for each member! Than you so much again!!

@@MexineseFamily These intro videos by squishy min yoongi are older so some information has changed and some info is incorrect but army will let you know. They are still really funny videos. It does get a bit fangirly with the romantic shipping it talks about which can be a bit cringey if you don't know going into it. They are brothers to me so that just doesn't compute in my mind so I just look at the cute names as friend-shipping. The Habits series is really good and I always recommend that. Squishy Min Yoongi also has some great Suga videos of course like Yoongi's little sound effects czcams.com/video/VUp7ZfW8UpY/video.html most people think of Hobi when they think of sound effects but Yoongi has some good ones he just isn't as energetic/outgoing as JHope is. But he has a goofy side he shows from time to time.

Kpop is usually based on looks for every group and company, and they train to sing and dance before they debut.
It's common in Korea those agents scouting talents & one of qualification they're looking for is the visual. Not specifically for EXO but for agencies.

First word that comes to my mind about Jin's personality : *HUMBLE*
Sm entertainment is pretty much known for approaching their idols in the weirdest ways possible. Sehun from exo once said that he literally got followed by them on the streets and that he started to run away cause they were being hella creepy, but they eventually got him. Not to mention that smentertainment definitely goes for very good looking idols to be in their company according the Korean beauty standards, so that’s probably one of the reasons why they approached jin.

Now this comment is really late but I just had to get this out. When Seokjin was studying in Australia one of the boys in the pictures with him is actually the Australian Disney actor Mitchell Hope who played King Ben in the Descendants movies.
V also dont have a back ground of dancing, singing and acting.. He became a member of hwarang because the director fell in love with his face. He became a part of a dance line bcoz of his solo song singularity. He also dont have a background in singing.

I'm also glad that you are doing this series! Yes, some of the info is outdated (Jin and Suga now have their own rooms, RM isn't called Rap Monster anymore, etc), but I like the videos, the clips she chose, and the information at the end with the relationships with the other members. Some relationships have changed/developed more (Tae and Suga are now much closer for example) than when Squishy Min Yoongi made this series, but I like the series. The other series is more a BTS in their own words introduction and while I would recommend them as well, they don't have a huge amount of other information like they do in these. And anything that is wrong or outdated we can always tell you! So anyway that is my long-winded way of saying I can't wait for your reaction to Suga's intro next!

I watched the series every week as squishy made them and I think i remember even Hopes was lacking. Yeah ur ryt, he doesn't have any singing nor dance experience, and the most amazing of it all is that he doesn't know how to sing. He was just trained by bighit. Jimin don't have any singing experience, J-hope doesn't know how to rap but was trained by bighit. While V was accompanying a friend for the audition and he was encouraged by bighit staff to audition and he got it, I know he doesn't have any singing experience either.
Jungkook - already auditioned for other big company but was not accepted, he decided to join bighit bec he was impressed by RM, he was sent by bighit in the US to hone his dancing skills
