I liked this episode but it felt more like a Commodore Hustle video with Magic thrown on top. That is to say the main plot had more to do with "friends who throw theme parties" than it did with actual MTG. Ironically my biggest critique of the episode is encapsulated quite nicely by Jer and Cam throughout so I'm not sure if I'm actually complaining here.
Please, please, please make more Murder Mystery Episodes. I have not kept up with Loading Ready Run as I should have. I absolutely loved this though because Halloween on its own is almost as awesome as Magic the Gathering, and just.....the script was fantastic. I can't tell whether you were all just being yourselves, or if you planned out a script, because it was so cool it looked scripted in a good way. As if you'd, you know, borrowed one of the writers for the Marvel Cinematic Universe or something. Maybe it has just been far too long since I've seen Loading Ready Run. You need more of this non-Magic-Related material in your episodes though. The Big Bang Theory did a Star Wars Episode 7 Episode. And they had Wil Wheaton. And PAX had Wil Wheaton. Can you get Wil Wheaton?
