When you are cutting bits off like the hand that went flying, put the bit into bluetac then cut through into the bluetac. Should hold both bits and you don't have to worry about finding tiny bits in the carpet.
That's a good tip.. I usually just make sure my hands in the way if I don't wanna lose it
Wow , ivy leagues need to give you a free ride., that’s genius
"You're going to have to shave that bit down......" Yup, welcome to Deathwatch. Pretty sure that's the story of at least every other model in my army!
Haha.. I can imagine, especially when I get to all the easy build style models with the shoulder pads fixed onto the arm. 😅
@@JamsMiniMods not gonna lie, I just got some 3rd party bits that replicate the center of the DW shoulder for exactly that reason. Won't be 100% uniform, but I prefer that "rag tag, mismatch, make do" look for DW anyways.
@@Annoyachu oh that sounds great. I was just planning to cut them like I normally do. That would save time for sure!
great work with all those gears & badass poseing
Thank you.. This one was a bit simple but I really like it 🤘
Love a good kitbash. Top work mate.
Thanks.. Appreciate it! 🤘
This Hammer - i am wondering where the cables will end. And imho it's a pitty that the wolfshead on the shoulderpad is looking in the wrong direction. But a nice pose all in all. And if the shoulderpadrims won't fit with the jumppack i think it's always fine to add some mass (up to one mm imho) between back and jumppack for some more play. If it's too tight otherwise you wouldn't see the extra space. The moldlines on the sides of the jumppack are left there on purpose?
Where is that base-element from?
I am looking forward to see some paint on that mini ;-)
Well I finished the cable part off and it's just tucked under the shoulder pad/top arm area. Yeah I didn't really like the reversed wolf head much either but I just wanted to use that shoulder pad. 🤔.. Any mold lines and stuff will be cleaned better before painting.
The base is a piece from the Ork Stompa and I just heated it up and bent it to the shape I want. Once my paints arrive I'll get it done and show it in the next WiP video. 🤘
Where do you go to vote? This intrigues me.
If you go on my channel, there should be a tab called "Community".. That's where I post my polls and announcements 🤘
Definitely deserve more subs
Thanks, appreciate it!
Would love to see the finished mini too, once that's painted and based its gonna be epic! (Perhaps a topic for another vid?)
Definitely.. I was planning on showcasing the completed model at the end of all these new kitbash videos. But I'm still waiting for my paints to arrive. Haha
The SW shoulder pad is backwards though.
Disrespectin the Emperor like that. 😜
Haha yeah it is.. I'll remove it and maybe just go for a transfer or something 😅
@@JamsMiniMods really enjoying these conversions. ✊🏻
Good to hear 🤘🤘
