I think it also shows how much trust the other countries had in Osea that they allowed the G7 summit to be on the Arkbird. I mean, launching your country leaders literally into space to have a meeting takes balls and trust to go through with that

I love how the strangereal cold war is just a friendly dick measuring contest of the two sides trying to one up each other. Then the pseudo Germans get a bit upset and blitz everyone, and the 2 superpowers are like: **MANSHAKE** "Let's do this, brother!"
I also like country relationships in Strangereal, where basically NOT-Russia and NOT-America are best of friends after the belkan war. At least until the grey men started causing shit

What I find interesting about the ace combat universe is that it mirrors our universe in some ways.
Strangely enough both the Arkbird and the Arsenal Bird have the same type of supply unit held underneath
They are both Osean, so it would make sense that they have things in common

I grew up playing AC5 and AC0 over and over. Years go by and I find this channel who’s illustrations mimic the cutscenes to a perfect T. Memories come flooding back and then I hear “Razgriz, launch!” And boy oh boy do I wanna break out the ps2 again. Excellent video and you just earned another subscriber!

How did Osea launch SOLG and Arkbird into the space?
SOLG was likely launched by several rockets and assembled in space (like IRL space stations), while Arcbird was probably launched from the water. Not sure if actually has enough fuel to get into orbit on its own tho. Could be some kind of assisted launch
@@tipoima bassat mass driver might have been able to send arkbirds modules into space in pieces

The SOLG was launched with rockets and assembled in space similar to IRL space stations and the Arkbird was launched Via Mass driver (probably was modified to support its weight)
And for the record the arsenal bird was launched from the mass driver at tyler island supported with rocket boosters

That ark bird was a symbol of hope but the reason why they had to shoot it down was bc the razgriz knew that they were not what they thought they were...
But the SOLG was caple of going into space like the ark bird so they knew that they had to bring both simfaxi and hirimfaxi down bc they were the only 2 that couldn't fire that high only the ballistic missle can hit up to 5,000 ft...
They built that SOLG to use against the anemy but they decided to use that against them to try to win the war...
ik that on the ACE COMBAT SKY'S UNKNOWN they built an arsanal bird just like the ark bird but the arsenal bird can protect it's self not the ark bird and+ not only that but the arsanal bird can be able to launch about 10-20 missles at once...

I have a feeling that the story director for Ace Combat 5 read the Tom Clancy book, The Sum of All Fears. Because the story feels heavily driven by its influence in the early 2000s.

Literally everything in Strange real is Belka’s fault, I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason Ulysses was on course with earth was because of some Belkian witchcraft involving magnets to pull the metals in the asteroid down.

Oh man this takes me back! Ace Combat 4 and 5 were awesome on PS2...I loved them! And now I am a real world fighter pilot! My dream job. It's hard though...obviously. But I'm so grateful and stoked.
I always noticed how the roll rate was different between 4 and 5. And the jets in 4 would just fly level while inverted but in 5 they were slightly more realistic in that they would require serious nose down input to stay level while inverted. But the roll rate was slower in 5.
But yea neither is realistic in any way haha. But that's why it's fun!
Man a Super Hornet or Raptor with the AMRAAM equivalents in that one level in the snowstorm over the mountains? You could let off 4 AMRAAMS at once and get 4 kills. That was fun.
This channel is like Military history visualized for AC, the only thing missing is the funky German accent.
In the beginning of the video i was waiting for: after the "Passing checkpoint 3" LUL Very nice video with beautiful pictures and even includes the SOLG my favorite superweapon because i like Satellite Cannons. But the Nugget fall was missing at the Scinfaxi battle. LUL Nevertheless RIP ex president Harling and Nuggets in the Scinfaxi mission. o7
