I don't understand why people don't get it about Marist Liufau. It's becasue he runs a 4.62. The same reason they drafted DeMarvion Overshown. He runs a 4:56. They are trying to contain Jalen Hurts who runs a 4.59. Jalen's running ability is what makes him dangerous. Add those two Linebackers to Micah Parsons's time of 4.36. It's all about giving Jalen Hurts nowhere to run. Take away what makes him speacial.

The last question about Spann-Ford reminds me of Tom Landry. Landry would move players to other positions if he thought they would be better in the NFL at a new position. You see that with safety to LB, Tackle to guard or guard to center but Landry was not opposed to moving guys like a Mark Tunei (RIP) from defensive line to left tackle.

King Broaddus is that dude. Like others have said, Brian is just that guy in the room that when he speaks- everyone is listening. His takes are invaluable to the process of evaluating players. The way he processes and articulates the information helps everyone around him and everyone who tunes in- understand what he sees and we as listeners hear a taste of what goes through the minds of the people in NFL organizations. He’s the adult in the room that everyone upcoming in this nfl/dallas analysts pays attention to. Humble and kind man through and through!

The way we drafted O L. this yr and last we have tremendous competition all across the line. C/G is stacked and we don't know forsure about Richards after a full offseason in the weight room. He could really push Steele, Guyton and for Swing T along with Thomas could surprise at R.T. Great draft created a lot of great competition and depth on O.L. and front 7 where games are won and lost.

I’ve been saying I’d be happy with Guyton if he can just be as good as Kolton Miller. Be an athletic mover in the run game and pass pro savant, shouldn’t expect him to be Tyron or Tyler Smith.

We’ve had enough 3rd pass rushers, we couldn’t stop the run. So the edge player who’s a better pass rusher, but a far worse run defender, doesn’t help you as much. So unless you have a much much higher grade. You take kneeland over Braswell and very time, especially with the upside.
I’m on the committee that agrees Rico showed up and played last season. I saw him run harder and with more burst than Pollard did.
