An interesting "story" of an American tanker with a captured Iraq tanking the Iraq ask why do you have a picture of your enemy (Rommel) prominin in your vehicle? The response was "if you had his picture in your vehicle, I might be your sitting in your vehicle as a prison."
awesome reaction, wanted to comment about the skydiving thing. It is one of the best things I have ever done in my life, only done it twice mainly because im terrified of hights :D but I also had that feeling, just as you are in the doorway and looking down, its scary as heck but also that amazing feeling of actually living. The drop itself goes so quick but at the same time feels like it never ends.
Can really recommend people to do it atleast once in their life.
I got here to get some information on th topic, but you chose to give us all a lesson on life everyone has to make.
Thumbs up, thnks for it!!!
Even here in Germany, at least from my perception, Rommel's more famous for his North African campaign, the "Wüstenfuchs"/"Desert Fox".
On the other hand history lessons at school were quite some years ago, so I don't really remember what's been taught ~15 years ago. 🤷♀
Blitzkrieg means Lightning War so it's in the name
Joakim and unkillable soldier :P
Rommel was such a cool dude and don't worry dude, havent found my way either yet. I'll remember your tips
The only respectable German general in ww2 imo. Tho I also have Erich von Manstein as an honorable mention.
