Multiple locations on a first date is so key. It keeps the momentum going. If the date is going well, there's no reason to stop. If it's only going okay, the next location is another chance reset. I don't think dinners are bad; you just have to follow up with like a nice walk afterwards or even something like mini golf. As the video suggested the after locations matter as the more scenic it is the more emotional value she gets.
