Trying To Fix 2 Old Nokia E71's | Vintage Nokia

The Nokia E71 is a QWERTY business phone from 2008. I bought these 2 off Mercari for a mere $8. These two look in decent condition and in this video I will attempt to find any issues with them and fix them so that I can use them in a Using Nokia E71 In 2020 Video in the future. The Nokia E71 is also a vintage Nokia and a part of the line up of premium Nokia phones such as the E7, N9, N95, N97, N900..etc So! In the age of the iPhone 12, Galaxy Note 20, One Plus Nord and Google Pixel 4a..phones like these have been almost forgotten...so here in 2020, lets repair and take a closer look at this rare and weird Nokia phone from 2008!

That E71 with the broken rear camera might have a firmware problem. You might want to flash a PM file to fix it. The flashing instructions are widely availible on the internet.

Bro though the phone has metal back cover.. I do feel static current when charging... is that normal?

I have an e71 that does not turn on. Checked for shorts and I can't find one. Any tips to get it to boot?
I noticed it is missing the 47K resistor near the battery. Will that keep it from turning on?
