Anne Fennell, a devoted wife and mother to six sons ranging from 22 to 8 years old, is passionate about highlighting the value of the caregiving role and preserving the freedom for future generations to make the choice to care. Overseeing her household, Anne has observed the impacts of family policies and the pressures on mothers to re-enter the workforce. Joining Mothers at Home Matter in 2010, she actively studied the effects of taxation on families and worked closely with 'Tax & the Family,' shedding light on the challenges families face and their vulnerability to poverty and benefit dependency. Currently serving as the Chair of Mothers at Home Matter, Anne has engaged with political conferences, briefed MPs, and contributed to various tax and childcare inquiries. Taking over the presidency of FEFAF (European Federation of Parents and Carers at Home) in April 2023, she continues to advocate for the developmental needs of young children and the influence of tax policies on family choices. Anne is deeply involved in her local community, contributing to toddler groups, chairing the PTA, and engaging with various think tanks and political discussion clubs. Alongside her architect husband and sons, Anne is completing the construction of their family home, documenting the journey on her blog.

31, currently staying home with 4 little people ❤ and plan to grow in number. I don't see this as a sacrifice at all. This is what I GET to do, not what I HAVE to do. Life is delightful. Wonderful vocation. Children are your legacy, momma!
When Tammy says, "I've been working since 40 and before that stayed home with my kids for 10 years, and there's lots of time to work!" Yes! I'm so glad someone else is saying this. I did the same, and seriously, jobs are NOT hard to come by later in life provided you have an education and are a reasonably capable human being. Most women can work until they're 65 or 70 easily. Most women cannot have children after 42. Why we force women into hardcore careers right out of the gate at 22 is beyond me. It's much more sensible to prioritize long-term supportive relationships and childbearing when we're young and most fertile, and then focus on career later.
Thank you for your comment

Still with my child hood sweet heart ♥️
I am so pleased by this conversation. For many years I have been trying to tell young mothers about the harm daycare does to infants under three.
My Papa used to talk about this but he sadly passed before we ever talked more about it. TMP is definitely my top 3 favorite CZcams channels!!
My mom left her job to raise her kids. She said that being with her children was the best time in her life. As a family we had to sacrifice a lot for this and didn’t have much. She returned to work when we were under 9 and regretted it. Financial issues pulled her away from us.
I was sad to see that you are not making it out to Minnesota for Jordan's current tour. Perhaps the State Theater was already fully booked. I hope there is another tour after the book actually comes out, and you are able to make it out here again. I was rather shocked at how small your channel is, I suspect the people at CZcams are not your biggest fans. 😅
You’ve been notified by my viewers that CZcams is taking down their comments so they are definitely mucking with the algorithms on my platform. That’s one indication that I might be doing something worthwhile.
She has some 3,000 listeners on the audio-streaming website Spotify, and I don't know how many more listeners there are who, like me, listen to the RSS podcasts, so her audience isn't quite as small as the CZcams numbers make it seem.
Taxes are theft. My comments are being removed by filter when I say more than this. Damn shame.
CZcams censorship
@@TammyPetersonPodcast I totally understand. My apologies if that came off aggressive. It’s definitely youtube.
They have become ridiculous lately.
