You should look a bit deeper into this.
Name one other auto manufacturer which has hired the top CPU processor design architects (e.g. Jim Keller, and Peter Bannon - both legends in the field of CPU design - you think the legacy auto manufacturers would have been able to hire them!?), and designed their own custom processor for AI inference (the Tesla "FSD" chip), and their own custom processor ("Dojo") for AI traning.
Name one other auto manufacturer which has a supercomputer cluster for AI training, of the scale that Tesla has.
Name one other auto manufacture which has significant capabilities in energy storage (large scale battery energy storage systems) etc. etc.
Which auto-manufacturer do you think gets the pick of top software engineering talent?
The list of significant differentiators goes on, and on.... One of these things is not like the other.
