- I made a knife with ancient greek technology. It wasn't easy but with some case hardening, it's achievable.

terrible application of science , loved it 10/10
The wooden pins were very nice. Like brass pins but made of wood instead.
That last Spanish bit was great
the workmanship of this knife is irrefutable proof that we live in a society
Civilization is not a collective enterprise, it's done by creative individuals to be able to put up with the rest of you.
What does this mean?
This has got to be one of the most comments of all time
@@Pequin1000 it means this certainly is, in fact *one* of the knifes of all time.
Indeed.
>puffs pipe
Indubitably.
That sharpening was top notch! Seriously I can still see the notches in the top!
one of the better knife projects on this channel lmao
Bro is a man with numberless talents
I got most of the jokes but the last one sailed over my head. DANGIT.
The content has changed from before, but I appreciate you continuing the channel that you inherited. Still entertaining for me
They are so close to one million! They deserve it. Great job guys.
I can only imagine brass handle, with wooden pins now
1:44 Alright, who made the clay look tasty?
*Forbidden dough.*
Honestly a different flavor for the channel... enjoyed the video
Fun fact: Clay particles are 1000x finer than sand.
Fun fact: coronavirus particles are at least 1000x finer than smoke particles
but you should definitely wear a third-world-produced surgical mask when it's smoky out
to protect yourself and others
for at least two weeks
Good thing they travel in water droplets which can mostly be stopped by third-world produced surgical masks
@@thewolfin Fun fact: noone asked
@@christhebirb Even so, they're right.
@@anon_y_mousse idk, sounds like they're being sarcastic.
You ARE an ancient Greek. And you DO look super cool!
You're puns are just as sharp as the knife. This was an entertaining video!
These videos are interesting because his behavior is like that of someone who has never met another person in their life but still he seems to be surrounded by people all the time
I love this channel, your comedy is really funny and it works so well with the type of videos you make. I look forward to seeing more!
6:28 did he just griddy in an industrial warehouse
Need the video explaining why the old guys aren't in the videos anymore
If I remember correctly they may be working on either a Collab video with them or a community post to explain why. Don't quote me on that though.
they dont work at the machine shop anymore lmao, theyve moved on with their life
One of the funniest CZcams videos I have ever seen, top notch content right there.
Creeping up on a million subs!
Love ya videos mate doin great is the sawblade videos still goin if it is i rekon you should try stone or concrete or somthing
Still my favorite waterjet channel video
this person just blacksmithed a knife, hit the griddy and then default emoted at us so thats a subscribe
Loved seeing you at open sauce!!!
The sparks don’t indicate it being hardened steel. It indicates the level of carbon in the steel.
THX!
My new favorite CZcamsr ❤
The Greeks may have better skills, but you have better ex-wife jokes 😂
You are as good of a bladesmith as you are a dancer, good sir. epic video. watching you use the wet stone like that hurt me.
I forgot about this channel. Wow they still make videos.
10/10 gave me a good chuckle
"Smack-build, smack build" my new manta.
Your dance moves slay!!! 😂❤
5:08 the scream when he sees the fire is peak comedy
quenching in two steps like that is gonna make it crack on that line where two quenches met the water line
its so griddy 🗣️🔥🔥🔥
Nice moves!
I breathe air but after this video I breathe confidence and sky-blue colouring. Thank you Waterjet Channel [tick]
"and can't be done in your backyard"
The backyard scientist: "noooo"
I love this stuff
To be fair, Clickspring was making tiny, thin rods to make files out of, not large pieces of sheet.
you could try doing a stone saw blade next
Love clickspring... was coming down to recommend his video.
Watched for the knife, subscribed for the clay burrito.
Finally worlds sharpest regular knife
5:10 lmao as soon as there was oxygen it was like THANK YOU HERE'S THE PLASMA YOU ORDERED
Mad respect for tasting clay
I'm an armchair Assyriologist, and can confirm the Greeks used tongs to cut clay lids.
You should make Roman cement in a video
Great content 😂
The sparks are an indication of carbon content not hardness
I tought that you are ancient greek who timetraveled to 2023 and now this video proved it to me
9:28 had me rolling!
Cool man
6:24 What?! Gimme a hell yeah 🍺
You are a very good CZcamsr.
@@pattyprolapsenice username fellow patty
this was cringey but thank you for teaching me how to make hardened steel
OHH MYY GOOODD NEW WATEJREYT CHANEEELVI DOE
Pretty neat.
But where does the Water jet come into place?
Damn yall must have friend the main two guys
You can’t beat the hell burrito or the hell calzone.
I haven't watched this channel in a while and i want to know what happened to the old guys that used to run the channel?
Art
5:10 You created a backdraft.
Waterjet channel does Forged in Fire (you won't believe the results)
It will cut (but not for long)
00:13 Surfing on a sound wave. Swinging through the stars. Take a left to the intestines or you might get baked into a pie on the Magic Schoolbus.
Woooo!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I'm ashamed to say that scratch awl joke made me audibly laugh.
I haven't watched in ages! Where did Russell and Mitch go and who are these clowns?
Could have just pulled the clay off the back wall from where it was thrown.
Your handle is far to chunky. You have to keep saturating a stone until it stops drinking up oil. You quenched to cold. Good start, youve got some work to do
whoaw, beautiful work with the wood
AFAIK the clay needs plenty of sand in it for not to brake in heat. But I'm no way an expert.
How to make bainite steel next please
ahh shieettt young thug hittin the griddy
Today I leaned that la chancla is ancient Greek.
9:10 A better joke would've been Scratch-Null
0:30 is that a grinding disk lmao
I want it. How much?
Make a tungsten knife
some people should just stay away from tools and any projects that require the use of them. (imagine a sad head shaking emoji here)
On a scale of 1-10 how bad did the clay taste
With all that equipment at your disposal and no hardness tester?!
make an IED out of a letter, then we can talk
Who copped la chancla?
Dig a hole to make charcoal’s
bronze was a lot better at the time compared to iron, at least for the things that ancient peoples were using them for
the whole iron age transition mostly happened due to copper shortages, except for a few places where they just straight-up skipped the bronze age
Kindly mention it...its not Greeks its hellenes.its not Greece is Hellas.Great video 💪👍
We did tell you not to bake it
Tank brownie
How to make everything who?
4:47 just like your ex wife on your cellphone when you're in the shower
😂🤣😂
At least 42 hrc
Waterjet channel, uses angle grinder to cut steel!!!
Like a boss 😎😎
Guess what
New master peice
😂
As a Greek this isn't the way you make knifes
Oh wait it's right

U r epic😊
